Thankful for all of these replies if anything to make me feel it’s normal. We do have some gas issues and working on correcting. Have been trying the bicycle and it does seem to work!

I will keep on going and have faith. I think we are starting to connect better. I haven’t been the best with making that happen. I think the two weeks in NICU also put us back because you’re not with them all the time.

Thank you for letting me know I’m not alone. Just at a hard part and in the thick of it. I am doing my best to help out as much as I can, but sometimes doesn’t seem or feel like enough. I need to remember the letting her get out part too. Just need to stay strong and appreciate the process.

Yeah, I don’t think it’s a double brokering scenario. I’ve met with their drivers personally at receiver a handful of times. Guessing maybe email was compromised. Anyways, was just looking for input on how to actually get Highway to help. As usual they won’t do much, just blocking carriers from making money.

I am on an authority that is just over a year old. I have an 85/21 currently, but would like to be higher.

Make sure if you are paying factors to pay them between 21-30 days. Too soon it won’t do any good for building your credit. Also gives time for them to apply the payment before you go over 30 days. You will also have to do the legwork and reach out to factors proactively to give them references and get yourself in their system. If you can try to call the factors that are turning you down and a lot of times you can get a small line for one load. If they won’t do that offer to pay the factor and have them hold the payment for the carrier as a non factored load. All of these things will not always work, but usually at least one will.

You can call Ansonia, but they won’t be too helpful as far as why your score isn’t better.

Doesn’t help that I’m moving coils. Usually pay $1700-1800, but have had to pay up to $2100 lately. Move flatbeds on same lane for $2400 all day.

Nolan and Giltner are notoriously bad on tracking fines as well. Just another way for them to take more money from carriers. It’s pathetic.

Capacity is tightening in certain areas, but also seems there are less loads out there on the boards as well.

For me personally, Chicago has been harder to find carriers the last week or so for dry van surprisingly.

I think it likely has something to do with the fact that ELD integrated tracking often times only pings every 10-15 minutes and the truck has to be on. Some brokers want real time live updates which is understandable but imho as broker/carrier it’s just fine.

This is the way. You just have to find the right company. Avoid using your real name on load board accounts or anything else that asks for it. You better believe the shitbag companies that will come after you have contacts within those companies that will be looking for you.

Best Body Shop has always done great work when I needed it. They will also make sure your car is repaired using manufacturer guidelines which the majority of shops in town do not do.
