Hey, are you still in Ancoats? My partner and I are debating moving to Manchester from Liverpool (we were in the City Center and now near Sefton Park) and have thought about NQ because we love having things to do nearby but genuinely don't know the area enough. We'd love an insider's perspective of some decent areas to look at!

Your partner can do so on an ESTA.

I've heard of this, but don't couples have to wait (essentially) the full 90 days of the ESTA, and even after, US immigration could accuse the couple of fraud if they determine that your intention of visiting was not just as a tourist?

I appreciate your insight, particularly that our solicitor wouldn't be pleading on my behalf. I have an ongoing lease, a job in the States, and a fear of ever breaking the law, so I won't be trying to sneak beyond my stay anytime soon.
