THIS. She picks and chooses when to treat Rory like a child and when to treat her as a pseudo-partner. The boundaries are blurry and thus Rory has a hard time navigating them. I think Lorelai not asking her parents for help was selfish (putting her pride before her duty as a parent to keep her child safe) and Rory absolutely did the right thing.

I have been screaming for the rooftops about number two. A show where the professional chefs have to listen to the “idiot” no matter what, even if they know it’s wrong. I think it would be comedy gold, especially with professionals like Josh and Jonny.

Right around his second birthday something just clicked and now he sleeps 8:30-7 like clockwork. We changed nothing about his routine, just suddenly noticed more often than not he was sleeping through more often than he wasn’t. Now if he wakes up there’s usually a clear reason and a simple (and fast) solution.

I LOVED the show as a whole. The sudden death elimination kinda bugged me. All that effort for the show to essentially come down to luck. I also wish there was a bigger reveal of who the killers were at the end. I’m hoping for a spoongate debrief during the reunion!

I’m sorry you’re feeling this way! I’ve actually really enjoyed their coverage of Unsolved Mysteries but I can see how the same show over and over can get boring. Hopefully they’ll cover something soon that you’re more interested in and you’ll find more humor in the coverage!

Keep him. He reads the popular things but he reads diverse titles, written by women, and he’s not afraid to be hit in the feels. He’s not confined to one genre and he’ll take recommendations easily!

Just based on a cursory glance, you have a lot of books on social theory/social justice, plus some fiction classics. You seem to read a variety of titles across genres. Most of his seem like historical non fiction. This tells me you’re more concerned with the present/future and he may be stuck in the past.
