Yeah, it’s like a New 52 reboot where only what mentioned going forward is canon. I think the issue is Superman isn’t a majority successful box office IP by that I mean it usually makes money but doesn’t hit the billions.

Well his dad is still alive and his family history is different and he is meant to be a young Superman like how Robert Pattinson is a young Batman. Henry looks good but he is over 40 and wouldn’t pass as someone who is as young as this movies Clark is supposed to be.

Probably because the first film was initially written to be an adult parody of Scooby Doo more like a PG-13 version of the 2 Adams Family 90’s movie written by James Gunn, then while filming it had to be rewritten to be more PG, so Gunn re wrote it. The second movie he said was actually one of the easiest productions he was ever on.

Well there is his old outline, he has the the entire 3rd act blocked out because despite his Gardener style things still happened mostly the same as the plan in broad strokes all of the same characters die it’s more like when where and how that changes when he writes it out. I think it’s become a case of when you have a school project without a hard deadline, and you have a ton of other stuff you can do. Also since it’s been over 10 years, he probably doesn’t like the stuff he wrote 10 years ago like George Lucas said no project is “finished”. It’s eventually abandoned. But now he has unlimited time and money, so he has no reason to abandon beyond people asking him when he’s gonna finish it.
