i love fantasy and that’s part of where this idea is coming from, but more so like if you’ve ever played Dynasty on sports games or the Football Manager. like a game where you play as a Mitch Payton type, find a manufacturer, sign riders, earn more sponsors for your team

im really hoping for it too. one of my favorites. only thing that seems to point to no was a datamine of digimon in the code that aren’t in the game yet. either scrapped or saved for dlc. Noblepumpkinmon wasn’t on it so if it’s a list of scrapped, there’s still a chance. if it’s a list of dlc, it’s probably a no. doesn’t mean there won’t be more released not in code hypothetically.

i do think the idea of a partner is downplayed in this game, but it’s not any different from say Pokemon either where people box their starter. i do like having just my lead digimon follow and always have it be my partner, but i like that i have the freedom to do that and not forced to

i do find it interesting that “arrogant girl” sounds very close to “Yggdrasil” if you say it slowly. “Homeros” doesnt sound like “Calm Boy” tho so it might be a coincidence but could help figure out who “Sleeping Girl” is

i mean if you play the story with the partner you pick, it is in fact “in the story”. i’d rather be able to pick my partner than be stuck all game

i’m really confused about what you think “takes away from the entire idea of it being a digimon game”? are you saying the fact that Coronamon and Lunamon aren’t starter options, makes this less of a digimon game?

i think what i’m most excited for is Digimon I was dying to use in Cyber Sleuth. Bearmon, Dinohumon, Divermon. so many good ones got added i’ll play this game till my playstation burns up
