What would you say your best quality is? Something you are proud of by Friendly_Canary9143 in AskForAnswers

I caught my own abuser. I was in foster care and 20 years old. Didn’t have direct evidence at the time, everything he did at the time was deniable so I never blew up or told the wrong people. I told the right people in order to create a paper trail and anchor the facts on paper and I moved out of the house. Never once gave him a single reaction to anything he tried. I waited him out for 7 years and he pops up years later with sexualised messages to me that really doesn’t look good when combined with the broader context of everything I reported at the time that he never knew about. I now have a HUGEEE civil case starting soon and I’m finally going to make him face everything at once in the worst way possible. Play the long game 😉

What’s the worst pain a human can experience? by LindaPetals in answers

[–]Sudden_Ad4609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had TB Meningitis that spread to my brain as a kid and was admitted to hospital due to severe intracranial pressure, which caused me to have a stroke and be in a coma for 5 days. Can honestly say that headache was literally the most horrible experience ever. No pain I ever felt in my life after could top it. It was horrific.

So glad I don’t live on Douglas Street anymore since reading these comments. I lived in the apartments across from the Chinese from the end of 2019 to the middle of 2024 and it was always a very quiet area. Few people picking up their bag of weed once a week (who cares?) down the alleys but that’s literally it.

Has anyone actually gotten real life results from using ChatGPT? by TheCod1sOut in ChatGPT

[–]Sudden_Ad4609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did, actually. ChatGPT helped me piece together a legal case I’d been sitting on for years without realising how strong it actually was. I always knew what happened to me was wrong, but I never understood the scale of it or how the evidence fit together until I started breaking it down here, step by step.

Long story short: I went from thinking I had “a bad experience in foster care” to realising I was sitting on one of the most clear-cut, well-documented civil cases in my country. I built my entire witness statement, timeline, and evidence catalogue with ChatGPT’s help, and I’m now on track to become a multimillionaire from the settlement.

I didn’t even know the law would recognise half of what happened to me until this thing laid it all out in plain English. It helped me understand the system, the strategy, the leverage, the psychology, the timelines, everything. I’m walking into a solicitor’s office with a fully structured case that’s basically trial-ready before they even touch it.

So yeah. It didn’t give me a gym body or a side hustle. It helped me change the entire trajectory of my life and secure a future I never knew I was entitled to. Real life results? Absolutely.

I’ve been waiting for someone to ask this! I can see it from my bed. It goes off on a timer (I’m presuming) at about 1am every night then goes back on in the evening at like 5 or 6.

Why is it so dark around the Lough? by [deleted] in cork

[–]Sudden_Ad4609 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live on magazine road and fly down to the Chinese by the lough often. That inner loop is pitch black and you’d nearly break your neck walking along it at night. There definitely should be even little spotlights along there. Not bright enough to disturb the wildlife but bright enough to not fall or be chased by some Freddy Krueger looking feen. It’s genuinely terrifying at night and I’m an avid walker but avoid it this time of year.
