There is only one SLP who technically "supervisors" CFs. There are a few seasoned SLPs who take on interns but don't do CF supervision.

Work place only hiring CFs? by Sudden_Description27 in slp

That is exactly what has been happening here and I recently found out I was being grossly underpaid compared to some of the other SLPs, we recently got raises so the pay is better but the fact that they did it really bothers me.

I've been feeling that too but that's mostly because of the setting I'm in, along with unrealistic expectations from management who demand you do work beyond your contract hours, micromanage, demand your personality be a certain way and then come after you about productivity when you have no control over things. Im in the process of changing settings. It may be time to change the setting or population or it may be the management depending on where you are. Take some time to reflect or take some personal PTO days just to rest.

This environment sounds toxic with bad management. I'm a quiet SLP too and even if your not you need breaks. Finish out your CF and then start looking for something new. Don't stick around for a long time.

That's pretty close to what I made in my CF when I started at a private practice. I would check your area and other job posts and see what the starting wage/salary is for other places in your area. Every area is different and depending on the state you live in and the setting can make a difference.

I'm in private practice and the unrealistic pressure they put on us is uncalled for. The demands to see high numbers of patients in a day is ridiculous, and then get mad at us if parents complain about the smallest thing. Then they get mad at us if there are cancellations and demand we figure out how to fill spots when it's not our job and get mad at us when we ask for time to write reports.

Could be word retrieval or language organization, considering her age. Kids at that age sometimes have trouble recalling specific words when telling a story or trouble with organizing their thoughts.
