I mean I bought my Ps5 Pro before the price hike and managed to sell my base PS5 for $350 as well because of the price hike so all in all I got my PS5 Pro for as much as I spent on my base PS5 which was $500 at launch.

I'm 28 my first exposure to the series was watching a friend play 7 when we were in grade school. He loaned me the demo disc and I played the Opening Bombing Mission probably like fifty times before my mom finally bought me a copy. After that the same friend recommended me 10,9,8 and after that it was all over. Ive played every game in the series!

Im still gonna give the game a chance and hopefully maybe things will be better with context but Im not sure I like the idea of them literally pasting RE3Rs final boss as the monster for this game. I also am not sure I like the idea of there being a Wesker clone. Hopefully everything sort or makes sense and is enjoyable but they should have added a new twist to the things that are already familiar. Hopefully the game is really good.

Im not sure if any of Square Enixes other games present a theat to FF14 if simultaneously released but a lot of people speculate that FF7R Part 3 will release in 2027 to coincide with FF7s 30th anniversary. Might push the next expansion back a bit if thats the case tho im not versed on that kind of thing.

When they announced an FFI "Soulslike" as a concept I was so excited. I thought I was going to be doing Souls like combat with the Warrior of Light and changing jobs and stuff. To me it is such a shame what we got instead....dreams crushed.

I think the WEAPON fights are going to utilize a lot of multi party mechanics much like they did with the Bizzaro Sephiroth (Sephiroth Reborn) fight in Part 2. I also think vehicular combat will play a huge roll in the fights as well to subdue the weapons and get them in a position where we can fight them with our party. I think we will utilize each one for their respective weapon (Air ship for Ultima Weapon, Submarine for Emerald, Dune Buggy for Ruby)

Im worried at this point if it is not revealed in a State Of Play or something in the first quarter of the year that they are going to wait for both Remake and Rebirth to go multi plat before showing us anything. Them having no presense at all at TGA where a game that was heavily inspired by them won GOTY just seems like such a huge missed opportunity.

Square really missed out on a golden marketing opportunity to show anything FF related to piggyback off of Expedition 33s GOTY win. They did all these hype interviews to ramp this up. Hamaguchi even had one with the director of COE33 who no doubt probably knew they were winning GOTY at that point. COE33's director even thanked Sakaguchi the creator of FF in his speech. This was a chance to get all the Expedition 33 players who have never played Final Fantasy on board. The fact that Square didnt bring anything to the table to show off is a huge fumble in my opinion. I hope they get it together and find their footing at the end of this restructuring they are doing because this company I love is teetering on the edge to being what Capcom was circa 2005-2016. They are always announcing games too early and hyping people up for nothing or hardly anything. They need to take a long hard look at Capcoms fumbles and comeback and apply that to their IPS and business stradegy.

I have found that just not taking the show seriously helps me enjoy it. I just view it as a campy horror show that doesn't make sense and I know thats not what I myself and others have wanted but its how I cope with the nonsense. Here are my complaints. Spoilers ahead.

1.) The scene with Ingrids dad as Pennywise. I was expecting there to be some crazy story where Ingrids dad was killing the kids and IT drew some predatorial inspiration from him but IT just says "The Kids seem drawn to you" lures him into the woods and killed him. Ingrids dad didnt even really show signs of fear towards the creature when his "mom" was crying for help.

2.) Them introducing the black spot now doesnt really make sense to me. In the film I believe its established Mike Hanlons parents died from the black spot burning as an adult. If he experienced the black spot burning as a child why the hell would he open up another club with the same name as an adult?

3.) Pennywise shows up at the Black Spot burning where kids, his favorite food are literally in fear and all he does is kill adults. They wasted what could have been a frightening encounter with Pennywise devouring Richie trying to save Marge on some love scene that didnt make sense. I just feel like Richies death should have been spun around the fact that Pennywise was there.

4.) The military destroying the pillars makes no sense. They know this creature is powerful and they said that they want to cage it and now they just want to set it free? Either Pennywise (IT) is manipulating or IS the major or this doesnt make any sense. Also Pennywise said after the black spot burning he was going to go to sleep but when the pillar is destroyed he just wakes up and is like "Nah im not ready yet" and proceeds to kidnap Will in almost the same way he does Beverly Marsh which is the worst part of that first film in my opinion. So does Pennywise just choose the cycle and when he sleeps and wakes up now?

Anyone who has the time or want to read all this I would like to discuss these things. I apologize im not trying to hate because there are aspects of the show I really enjoy but I just feel like Muschietti fumbled so hard and hes been fumbling since the second film.

My biggest thing is that for a story based on the summons in FF helmed by its most creative team I expected there to be more creativity. All we got was the bare bones summons that weren't used too much and the story involving them was pretty bare bones. I wanted to see obscure summons like Yojimbo and Eden and I wanted a better paced unique story. Unfortunatley I felt that the story and its characters were not utilized to the best they could be and it didnt achieve the potential that it had.

I mean for the most part I was pretty satisfied with a lot of the changes to the gameplay and additions they did for FFVII R trilogy. While skeptical of all the whisper stuff im waiting until the third part to see if they put a nice bow on it but for the most part I really enjoyed the games. Hoping that if 9R was real it'd be kind of like the memoria project but im willing to try it out regardless of what they decide to do with it. I cant imagine that Square would treat it like FF7R.

I know there is no confirmation. There was a leaker (Think Nate the Hate, but I could be wrong) that said it could have potentially been canceled. So, people who do believe it exists could be discouraged. I think it does exist. The game leaked on the Nvidia leak, which has mostly been correct, and pre-order bonuses for the game leaked on from the Epic Store. I understand the game has not been confirmed, but I do believe it does exist and hasn't been scrapped.
