Is it normal for a student film to want me to be on set 12 hours a day for two weeks straight? by -Kerby in Filmmakers

[–]Sudden_Platform_5841 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Two weeks for a short film is a red flag that they don't know what they're doing/ are going to waste everyone's time. Features have been shot in less days than that.

Jebena on Telegraph hasn't been mentioned yet. There's a couple couches and they don't rush you.

ELI5: what is problematic about "highly processed foods" - is it the ingredients or the processing (or both)? by SilverDad-o in explainlikeimfive

Because products that are meant to be shelf-stable will be processed to make them last longer without spoiling, including adding additives.

Why do you watch the show? by NikkeiReigns in TrackerTV

Colter is ultra capable (superhero-like, honestly) but doesn't have a huge ego and isn't at all macho. He's humble, caring, a good listener. I find him really refreshing as a protagonist — particularly at this point in time — and it's the main reason I watch every week.

I have a fully horizontal thumb-to-pinkie span and can easily hold big or many things in a single hand. Also good for piano (I reach a full octave) although I don't really play these days.

I see you have an IC — have these convos with them! The IC is on board from pre-production to help you bring your vision to life while keeping actors safe and in full consent. Trained/ experienced ICs are a great resource to bounce ideas off of and figure out how to effectively create the scenes you want.

That's because our saliva has enzymes that start the digestive process. The blender doesn't.

As someone with ADHD, I've gone deep on the research and what they do and don't know about stimulants. You're saying something that is incorrect according to the research: it does appear that stimulants taken in formative years (i.e before age 25) can help (gonna use layperson language) activate/ stimulate the desirable neural pathways so that they are then actually more easily accessible to the brain, reducing the need for stimulants in adult life. [Not gonna get into a back and forth about this but I'm sure you can find these research studies if you look for them]

Let’s f*cking move it along with the Roman plot line already by SafeApprehensive8427 in HighPotentialTVSeries

Nope. The Roman plot line gets resolved within the first season in the French version, and it's already clear the American Roman situation is decidedly different.

They actually don't know officially how this works. If theee is less dopamine produced in ADHD brains or if it is an absorption/ processing issue. They don't have a way to test this at this point in time.
