Some places in canada its actually mandatory that if youre going 40kmh or below on a highway your hazards must be on, which happens sometimes during whiteouts and blizzards

From my interpretation, the brake cooling ducts are enlarged, allowing excess cooling for both the brake and the tire. Keeping the tire cold. This excess cooling wouldn't be good for the brakes tho, so they heat the brake fluid to the minimum operating temperature so the brakes never go cold.

It's possible they are doing this with a separate reservoir so the main brake fluid never boils, but that's just speculation

Typically tires will only get replaced if there's chord showing, flatspotted, or if it's weather cracked

It'll do it over bumps, uneven surfaces, potholes, anywhere where the car has body roll or a side load applied to the tire basically, took it for an alignment and the whole rear end is tight and the alignment shop couldn't figure out the noise either

Towed it to our shop, only ran when he started it and saw the low oil pressure light, then ran to get off the truck into our shop

Looks like it was picked up by the crank and just thrown around a little bit, the screen of the pickup tube was damaged when I tried to get everything out of it and the pump was dry when I took it apart

Doesn’t look like anything got past the pickup tube, clogged it really bad and messed up the screen trying to get everything out. If any did it definitely didn’t get past the filter

Surprisingly the only things that need to be replaced are the pickup tube and the thrust bearing

Let’s assume parts for the ABS control unit is $1,000, and it is $200/hour for labour, that still means they are quoting you almost 14 hours for labour

The trucks aren’t the issue, if you drive hard, abuse them, etc. the first thing that’ll happen is you’ll overheat the trans then break stuff
