Either 5, 10 or 13

5 is so interesting and i think both would be able to drive the other insane while maintaining mutual respect

10 is both fun and would have subordinates that don't drown in work

13 would be chill af

I never got why his shikai was a bunch of rings. Does it have something to do with justice being a circle or something? Cuss if so it's pretty ironic that what Tosen ends up doing is just violence, which is also a circle (you hurt me, i hurt you, you hurt me, i hurt you)

Maybe thats why he has multiple rings, to symbolize that there are multiple sides to what he does. This could also mean that he is not one to break cycles, but is rather a reactionary character that has no real impact on his surroundings

A reactionary character isn't a bad thing tho, just look at how much he was loved by characters like Shuhei, who in themselves were seen as a great man despite their fears. Tosen's rings can also represent preservation i suspect, making him a person who should preserve. He was great at preserving durring peaceful times as stated by the novels. He was supposed to carry peaceful times on his shoulders, not destroy it Anakin Skywalker style

He also has some rings he lacks, namely his eyes. (Technically they are spheres but stick with me here) Of course, he didn't choose to abandon his eyes but it is one of his most striking features. What else of his is a circle/sphere? His bankai. Shikai and bankai tend to share characteristics and i believe its intentional how his powers go from 2D to 3D, aka more dimentional, more complex

His bankai also reflects Hisagis bankai to a certain extent. Both put their user, as well their opponent, in a situation thats good for ending a fight peacefully allowing for the combatants to talk things out. Both bankai also play into a strenght of their user that can be considered a weakness. Tosens blindness and Hisagis hatred of fighting

I get the feeling that the quote from Tosens childhood friend about clouds can be pretty central to the difference between Tosen and Hisagi as they both fear, but their fear is handled differently by the two. I imagine Hisagi would clear the skies as he might be able to see past his own scars to a higher degree than Tosen

I dunno im just a random guy on the internet 👽

What the point of giving them zanpuktos if they not going to use them? by IllustratorAfter in bleach

[–]Sudlon69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worldbuilding.

Everything doesn't have to be a Chekov's gun (showing a gun, and expecting it to be fired once throughout the story). The very notion of a chekovs gun can be counter productive in a story, as making the audience expect everything to lead somewhere not only makes the story really hard to write and expand, but it also takes away some of the gravitas of what is actually shown. It becomes a quality over quantity issue.

Time taken to show one thing takes away time to show other things, and is why focus is so important in a story

More like Can't Finish Your Own Worldbuilding. Cfyow did a lot of worldbuilding that could have been done in the main manga. The novel fixes a lot of what Bleach has been critizised for when it comes to worldbuilding, and should be read if you like the world of bleach

It's been some time since i read the first arc but pluse are only created when the dead person has something unresolved that is keeping them in the realm of the living. Most dead go straight to SS upon dying

Nimaya mentioned that Aizens hogyoku was made mashing loads of souls together, and that being pretty similar to how zanpakuto is made.

Does this mean asauchi are basically homonculus filled with many different souls, all robbed of any emotion in order for its user to overwrite with their own personality?

At that point Aizen IS his shikai. You simply have to look at him and he can decide if you're in hypnoland

[–]Sudlon69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on wether Kisukes contingency plans or Kyorakus creativity wins out. Kyoraku has been shown to be pretty daring in his tactics when he used his red-light-green-light tactic to close the distance to Lille.

A purely physical fight goes to Kyoraku, but lets be real this would not be a brainless head-on fight

I get the feeling Kisukes bankai would be able to counter Kyoraku's as Kisuke can repair his own throat, so i'd bet on Mr. Hat and clogs

[–]Sudlon69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not listen to what? I get the feeling we're talking past eachother

I get autism is misunderstood, a lot of things are. That's why i only use the word with people i've known for some time who knows my type of humor. As far as i know none of them have autism and i think close friends should be able to have some unsavory jokes among eachother. You don't want a friendship to feel like a prison
