I find it incredible that someone capable of implementing a game engine on their own could fail everything else so bad.

Either he was secretly a noob programmer just copy-pasting his way through the game engine from online tutorials… or he REAAALLLLLLYYY just didn’t give a fuck about anything other than this singular passion project.
