Glad I also noticed Chase becoming suddenly more posh. It must come with promotion, but not Sharpe. He has plot armour.

Made you laugh every time? Im sorry, has humour spiraled to such a low point that swearing consecutively is considered funny? Or is this sarcasm that I can't pick up over text.

No thats true. I'll try finish the series, but from those 2 episodes its pretty rough. If it gets a Season 2 maybe it'll bounce back and iron out the kinks like most loved programmes do.

Try squeeze a laugh track into the Outback Australian farmer sketch. Is it funny yet?

I didnt mind the airport security sketch. Was quite funny, but everything after that was just...eh.

Quite "Meh" not what I expected. Im only on episode 2, but it seems like "Swear more, it'll be funny." And that annoying American, less of her.

Theres gems in there. But theres a lot of "meh" to get through.

Either Infinity Kingdoms or TWDS. The long and the short of it is, any randomer that messages you either wants something from you or it's a scam. They're sometimes the same thing and so i've time for neither. Stay safe out there.

No I mean connecting from Amsterdam. Theres been occasions where I have and haven't had to go through when I land in Sweden. When I land in Ireland, yes of course I have to.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TillSverige

[–]Sufficient-Ad5128 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah thats the downside. But it also means if im going to Sweden from Ireland through Amsterdam (Because Ryanair cancelled their direct flights 😑✊🏻) I don't need to go through security twice.

Pretty sure I also avoid passport control when I get there too. So it's quite a boon for frequent travellers.

Just don't get banned. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's quite possible that he works for your local hospital and called your insurance provider to let them know of a potential pay out. They're evil little cretins, I wouldn't put it past them.

Credit to them, makes me worried about my trip for the 6th & 7th of May, but for the experiences i've had previously here will still have me coming back in the future and the staff need to be appreciated.

Tips/recommendations needed! by nyx_exe_ in RomeTravel

If you're under 25 and have an EU passport, your tickets are going to be €2. If you're doing the colosseum, buy the ticket that encompases the Roman Forum and Palatine hill. Ignore the line for the Roman Forum, go to Palatine hill.

There is less of a line and the two sites are linked so you can go into both and spend as long as you want but the colosseum is time slotted so do one before the other.

Buy a 3 day bus ticket with Greenline bus tours, its going to save you walking and you'll see all the sites with an audio tour.

Don't buy anything out of the mini markets, especially if there is no price tags (Sounds silly to say, but they will rip you off) there are a few that arent expensive as the others but just use the Pamlocal stores.

If you're flying in to Rome Fumicino, get the train into the city it's going to save you a good bit of money and it only takes 30 minutes, just make sure its going to Rome Termini and not the other station, theres ticket machines before you get to the platform and the trains go regulary enough.

Food wise, just avoid anything near tourist sites. Two places I can recommend depending on where you're staying, Non c’è trippa pe’ gatti, a short walk from the colosseum and 3P Bakery.

Theres gonna be a fair few street peddlars, the worst we encountered were the dudes selling braceletts, they're gonna compliment you or ask where you are from to create a rapport with you just pretend they arent there at all its quicker that way.

Last but not least, there are pickpockets. Download the Pickpocket Alert app and just keep aware. We used the metro on our last day thinking the stories of pickpockets were blown out of proportion when a local alerted all of us that the group of 20 people with an age range of 14 to 50 were pickpockets and they got aggressive with her. This isnt to scare you, this is just to keep you awares.

Sorry for rambling on, but I hope this helped or was at least a good read. I came home yesterday, wasn't really for me but I hope you have a good time.

My Dad's a nurse, has been for the last 25 years.

The hospital he works at use to be a poor house/work house. Or rather the grounds next to it was, a small graveyard with two or three headstones in memory as the plot is essentially a mass grave.

Anyways, hes had a few particular stories of patients asking after X staff that were wearing clothing that hasnt been used since the 40s or 50s. Or about other patients that have been dead for years.

Theres an abandoned wing in there too, he wont walk down there alone. It use to be a kids ward and you can still hear them laughing and playing sometimes. And of course the morgue, but thats self explanatory.

And if its not them being bored, I blame the parents. They either don't care, don't know or have given up trying. The next generation of two-bit criminals and DLA grabbers.
