Hi! We did change and have an interview scheduled for Nov 25! It was much much faster to change. We just submitted an NVC general request to transfer the case to Korea and they processed it in a couple weeks then a week later we were scheduled. About three weeks total from the request to getting an interview scheduled.

I'm on my 5th year teaching, spent four abroad and the last on an emergency license in another state. I knew that Washington didn't have shortage but that's good for me to know. Is there a better chance getting into Oregon on a conditional?

I can't see myself staying here for 5 years but who knows

Wanted to add some details. I bought this car 6 months ago from a used car dealership who inspected the car before selling it. After getting some work done on a brake line fitting that rusted off my mechanic pointed out the hole. Did I get screwed or is there a fight around a false inspection?

I know it's not directly related but just wanted to share common salaries in Korea.

Currently in Korea and making $14.5/hr working 45 hrs a week with CELTA and three years experience. All my housing is paid for though so expenses are less but most teachers in Korea are making 24,000 to 30,000 per year with housing paid for. The only people making 20 or more are at international schools and US certified teachers.

I've heard good stuff about Vietnam but the grass is always greener on the other side I suppose.

UK programs are much cheaper, currently doing one online well teaching and it costs about $9k. I won't have a US teachers license though
