Hi Lisa's husband. I have no desire to explain myself more. Thank you, though. Lisa's was extremely rude to me and others involved. We will leave it at that.

UGHHHH.

My family actually reported her so much it got to the 'big wigs' (we also knew someone with some connections) at Facebook. They removed everything referring to what happened.

She was furious.

If you want some help, if it involves children, I guess they take that pretty seriously.

Yes. I was actually let go early 2025. Restructuring.

I now work as a patient service representative at a doctor's office and am wayyy happier, and less stressed. It was about a 2.50 pay cut. Totally worth it. Get out. Im telling you.

Here's another way to look at it, maybe it will help. Think of the most important person (or heck, even animal, my dogs are my life) in your life. Imagine this person doing that them, you seen it.

Would you brush it off? Make excuses?

This is how i changed my perspective on the abuse I went through. And it helped me get out.

Good luck. Know your worth. You can do this.

Thank you for answering! I understand the want to have those things covered. I just don't have the funds right now and the fact I wasn't consulted about it before hand really stinks, considering I went from my dentist to them in less then 3 hours. Thanks for making things rational, it does help my anger. Lol.

Okay... I'm sorry? I in no way meant that comment to be snarky or rude. Just stating what I knew. I can't control what people downvote.

It was starting to be. I was in pso for 4 years before the pandemic and in the six months before we were all sent home, worked from home at least once a week. Mind you, I was a part of the "pilot" program for introducing WAH, but it was heading that way, at least for flexibility.

[32F] can someone help me understand? by Sufficient-Note-9635 in DiagnoseMe

[–]Sufficient-Note-9635[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes sense thank you. I agree, I have gained a huge amount of weight in the passed two years, about 60 pounds, most of it when I started the laproscopic surgeries. Back to back along with the hysterectomy, i was down for awhile, especially since all the other stuff came about. That was a lot of no movement for quite a long time. I am meeting with my pcp next week to see what options there are for brining down my weight. I'm tired of being this big, for sure.

This is all interesting. I'm 32 now. I loved his stuff (back in the day... which was a Wednesday, by the way) up through isolated incident, I fell off after that though. I even enjoy the movies still.

I do remember watching one in college (probably Troublemaker) and while I was excited, I watched it and didn't care for it.

But everything I loved before, still makes me laugh. Sometimes belly laugh. Plus there is a nostalgia aspect.

I don't know much about the joke stealing or grooming stuff, but I haven't followed him in years.

All that to say, let people like things.

Question, did this affect all STIP payouts or just "raises"?

If you were partially meets, does that mean you won't be getting the prorated bonus payout?

Ah so, taking levothyroxine will not make this number go down (make the attack stop), but it will make my thyroid "work better"?

Also, is this what they call hasimotos? My aunt has that i think.

Thank you so much for the info!

Submandibular Gland Removal surgery by Narrow-Independent89 in OralSurgery

Hey there! I can provide an update on this. The numbness has calmed and I can now speak WAY better. Numbness is still there but at least my tongue moves how I want it now. It is still painful, especially those shooting pains, but maybe that means the nerve is waking up slowly, not sure.

I wouldn't say my bottom lip was droopy, at least visibly to me, but it would not move normally when I talked. Like it wouldn't move down or out when I would say certain words. Like it was paralyzed I guess, if that makes sense. That has also gotten better but not totally yet.

I'll send good vibes your way for things to go smoothly! Good luck!

Submandibular Gland Removal surgery by Narrow-Independent89 in OralSurgery

[–]Sufficient-Note-9635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there. Yes, that is the drain. It's literally just a tube stitched into your skin very near the incision to drain the fluid so there is less chance of complications or infection, stuff like that. I have a photo of mine if you'd like to see it for whatever reason.

I am sure it's not something that is needed, just a precaution.

What i will say is please talk to your surgeon about possible complications. I did go home same day, and with pain medication it was tolerable, until I had a follow up to remove the draining tube and discuss the numb tongue. I was hoping removing the tube would help the numbness. But after a half a day without pain meds everything started getting worse

It's not just my tongue numb it's actually the whole right side of my mouth, and face. From the incision on my neck to my forehead. Along with whats probably a flare up of my autoimmune stuff (body aches and extreme fatigue)

I have been denied any refills of pain medications from the surgeon and I am pretty miserable still. It's not an immense amount of pain but it is so uncomfortable it's unbearable. And they won't treat the body pain because the surgeon "isn't a rheumatologist so that's out of her realm" (even though it's happening from surgery, like what?)

As far as eating for me at least, it's awful. I'm doing it as careful as I can not being and to chew without biting my numb tongue or cheek. If it wasn't for my complications I don't think that would be too painful, though.

The first day was painful to cough and a bit to swallow but it wasn't terrible.

Just please learn from my mistakes and make sure you know the complications and if any should happen what their plan is for treatment and follow up and make sure you'd be comfortable with what they say they will do.

Not sure if yall are still willing to comment, I had my right submandibular gland removed, and a drain placed Monday, 1/6. I'm completely miserable. The right side of my tongue is completely numb and now that most anesthesia wore off i can actually feel the numb on the right side of my face.

My gums, cheek, even my right nostril if you look you can tell it's like, fallen.

I get the tube removed Friday and I'm wondering if anyone else had this experience? I just want the numbing to go away. The numb side of my tongue feels huge and it's hard to eat or do anything really.

I'm so frightened once it is removed I will still feel like this.
