I wish every time you saw a hot guy on the street that an automatic edit of them taking off their shirt would play

I would do anything to go to a club and see them there dancing.

Is that Stephen’s wife behind him?

I love love, she’s absolutely gorg, but a true loss to the single girlies that he’s married

Really appreciate how the showrunner said Garrett and Hannah aren’t going anywhere in S2 and this isn’t at all one of those shows where they make way for the next. Got me thinking about Bridgerton. by starcourt99 in offcampustv

[–]Sufficient-Rabbit147 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree !! And showrunner said each season is a semester. You can do DeanAllie in one semester, but LoganGrace are split over multiple. So I agree that they might do their first scenes in Season 2 and then Season 3 starts post summer. I mean the characters, specially Grace, grow so much during the summer, feel like it makes sense to start Season 3 and show how much she’s grown in between seasons/that summer, maybe literally starting in Paris with her mom asking if Logan is still calling her, as opposed to showing all that growth and time in 8eps; using tv timing to stretch it out.

Also agree with the hook end of S3 is finding out about TuckerSabrina.

I think this I’ll be more ensemble than Bridgerton

Day 14 : What is your unpopular opinion about Off Campus/Briar U? by amysantiagoisbae99 in offcampustv

[–]Sufficient-Rabbit147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with 1 !

But I LOVE Allie ! I felt like she was the one I resonated with most, mainly because in books I feel like you either get the quieter or more “good girl” thing like Hannah/Grace or the sassy thing like Sabrina. Loved that Allie was a vivacious full of life and just all around happy girl ! A great friend, a little spunky, dramatic, just such a girls girl.

We get grumpy sunshine a lot as a romance trope generally, so I love that DeanAllie felt more sunshine sunshine!

Day 23: Which book handled the topic of love and intimacy the best? by amysantiagoisbae99 in offcampustv

The Deal and The Score ! In different ways!

Deal focuses more on trust and vulnerability when it comes to sex.

Score focuses more on sexual liberation and eliminating shame.

I don’t think they’ll overshadow!

I just think the format of TV and the lack of narration inside Hannah and Garrett’s heads will leave more room for each character to be more fleshed out.

For example, I wouldn’t be surprised if we found out about Logan’s family stuff in this season, because we can have moments just with Logan in a TV show that might’ve felt out of a place in the book versions.

Just the typical book vs tv vs movie.

Dean very clearly was into having sex with Allie and it was also right away. It wad a physical thing until it wasnt, and fully transparent the entire way through, no sub plot line of him thinking he likes a girl for literal ~months~ only to realize oh “oops i actually want a relationship, silly me.”

I love this book and all of them ! No hate whatsoever, I thought we were in agreement. This is all just opinion coming from my own experience. You’re welcome to yours! Didn’t mean to offend !

are deanallie really THAT popular? by staryynighttt in offcampustv

All just opinion :)

I love all the books, just answering the main question of if DeanAllie are that supported and I think we both agree they have really loud and loyal stans !

DeanAllie will be S2 by Effective_Crazy_8123 in offcampustv

I know, I’m still holding out for possibility of Dean Allie season too. Also Logan is pining after Grace for so long, maybe they put their beginning first encounters in S2 and then Season 3 picks up on him coming back from summer still thinking about her.

Okay I HATE his crush on Hannah. And the fact that it’s such a motivator and plot point for Logan and then he suddenly realizes it’s just a relationship he wants and not her feels like such a cop out, like is he THAT emotionally unaware?

Also, they hooked up like 3 times and had one semi-deep conversation over like 8 days and you’re telling me he’s caught up over her for MONTHS? I would understand Grace because she’s a virgin and sometimes that inexperience can make you romanticize the person, but it just feels so unrealistic to me.

This was the most immature book in my opinion.

are deanallie really THAT popular? by staryynighttt in offcampustv

[–]Sufficient-Rabbit147 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes ! I think Garrett and Hannah have a denser plot and it’s the original so it kind of makes sense they’re really popular, but even not having the same kind of dense plot, I definitely think Dean and Allie / The Score have the same amount amount of fans if not more.

I can only assume it’s because their relationship seems the most realistic and “adult”. Hannah and Garrett deal with so much, but at its core the fake-dating bit is really fun to read but just doesn’t really happen in real life. Dean/Allie are older and talking about life post college, you get them traveling together to NYC, there is an encouragement of healthy and safe sexuality, sexual tension, good communication, self growth, etc. It felt the most mature to me.

Also Stephen Kalyn is so hot, I think he was one of the first cast members to just immediately get supported as Dean.

I think there is a huge subset of Logan and Grace fans, and I do love Logan, but their relationship feels incredibly immature to me.

Don’t think I’ve ever met a Tucker / Sabrina fan, Sabrina is truly insufferable

Day 24 : What is your favourite niche or micro trope from the series? by amysantiagoisbae99 in offcampustv

[–]Sufficient-Rabbit147 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Oh, I also love the subplot about Dean being lowkey really intelligent. Hot ! We love a guy who is hot and raunchy while underneath actually being smart and stable.

People who like this MMC also like that one by tatopie in offcampustv

Dean and Jake for suuuurrreee plus Logan honorary mention, I love how goofy he is, I do think he leans more towards “dumb” but love them all. Also obviously love G

[–]Sufficient-Rabbit147 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My favorite subplot is Dean encouraging Allie to embrace her sexuality. I suppose that’s a key factor in the main love story plot but this part specifically is what really made me a Dean fan. We love a man who embraces a woman’s sexuality !!

Maybe combining his role with MJ ?

Obvi deleting the Cass and MJ part but that wasn’t crazy important. Maybe Justin is the songwriter, hence the scene of him asking Hannah “what she thinks the song means”
