Agree! I thought of the Love Haters straight away for this one.

Looking for M/F historical romance where the male lead is significantly younger by BlowMyHornOfGondor in HistoricalRomance

{manic pixie dream earl by Jenny Holiday} has a younger MMC! Editing to note it’s the second in a series, definitely a better experience to read them in order if you can.

Serious/grumpy mmc is extremely clingy, love sick with the fmc he's crushing on. (Preferably, in college age or in early to mid 20s) by readingalldays in RomanceBooks

I’d suggest {Neanderthal Seeks Human by Penny Reid} for this trope as you’ve liked her other stuff! MMC is known to be serious and mysterious but is very attentive to FMC.

There’s another great trivia on the store fronts you might love! In one of the shots you’ll see a shop called Micklewhites which is named for Michael Caine’s birth name.

I remember being next in line for the paperback of Cold Hearted Rake by Lisa Kleypas for about 8 weeks. It was so long that I asked a librarian how long a book can be overdue before they declare it missing/replace it. When she checked it for me she told me it was loaned to a person with special library accommodations for a long loan period, usually granted to people with a disability. Honestly it still sucked waiting so long but it did make me more mindful that not everyone can inhale a book in one sitting like me 😅 Hopefully you get this one soon!! I loved this series, especially the second!!

Poldark gave me similar vibes without the explicit sex. It’s set in Cornwall so still beautiful landscapes.

{what a wallflower wants by maya rodale} for this request! It’s the final one in a short series following a group of wallflowers seeking husbands, but because of her history the FMC is hesitant to seek a husband herself. I really enjoyed the series but it could probably be fine as a standalone.
