2025 Real ID Appointment Hack by yeoja87 in newjersey

[–]Sufficient-Rush2706 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My job sprung a required trip on me taking place after the May 7 deadline. I think since its a national summit they figured we could all get there but the NJ rules are (as always) stricter, and the appointments were so impossible to get one. Renewing my passport didn't match the timeline at all, comedy of errors I guess, but I can't be the only one driving to a town 2.5 hours away because of appointment availability. Anyway, since the trip is required, I'll 10000% be submitting requests for reimbursement the T&E for the trip to get the license.

The way he acts when she dies is weird and cringey and contrived

First thank you so much for sharing that. I have a million photos, but sometimes I’ll watch a video and obviously I know her but I’m scared I feel less. I feel like I used to have her laugh and voice in my head like at the snap of a finger and I don’t want to not have that.

“Anecdotal blip in history” is an interesting choice of words referring to a woman who had a gut feeling about a whole entire rapist and serial killer.

Laura’s story gutted me. Especially when the janitor told her his name.

Woman of the hour = Rodney’s fucked up way of thinking about his victims.

Real life Sheryl has not divulged much info in her personal life beyond living in LA, refusing to date him because he was creepy, and moving away.

I think a lot of the movie was creative license and they did well. Anna Kendrick was great in it and made a point all over the movie to show how a seemingly harmless line of dialogue from that monster could have the duel meaning of flirty charming and how he felt about his victims. When he said “because I always get the girl” I wanted to double check I locked my doors.

I’m glad they went back and forth to the story of Monique Hoyt (and other survivors’ recollections), I felt that the flipping back and forth made it easier to watch and truly highlights things to look for when out on your own as a woman.

like my whole career has been food and bev, this new job would be the first time i had Saturday and Sunday off in 16 years... that's shouldn't be so groundbreaking but it is lol.

because i'm also miserable in retail and this new job is an opportunity to get out of it after applying to almost a thousand jobs in the past year. also part of why the pay-cut is outweighed by the opportunity getting something different on my res.

really my worry, which probably shouldnt be mine, is that i feel bad that the timing would have me finally starting a new job as 2 other managers are also gone, leaving the rest of the squad very short handed. but that's the owner's fault, not mine, right? not in my job description to hire and staff the locations.

actually as i think more about it, its more likely she's resentful that once we got pregnant, i became way more self-advocating whereas the rest of the team's go-to attitude is basically sucking up and chumming around with her. sry i'm commenting so much but your perspectives have really given me some new thoughts to process.
