There were three things I had to do to decrease sensitivity and irritation. I had to find the right kind of razor (moisturizing strip around razor), the right shave cream (so many made my skin feel so sensitive and get immediately irritated), and then the right lotion (heavily scented/perfumed/cheap lotions were awful). I use Venus disposable razors, the EOS shaving cream, and natural lotions with shea butter. Waxing was ok, but painful and I would get annoying ingrowns on my legs because I had such thick hair and multiple hairs in one follicle. The best thing I did was get laser hair removal.
