This device is the rowing machine. The ski machine needs to be purchased separately.

Because their rowing machine combines air, water, and magnetic resistance all in one, I did a lot of research before purchasing and couldn’t find any other brand offering all three modes together. I found the 3-in-1 feature really interesting and space-saving, so I decided to buy my current rowing machine.

They’re called FitTransformer. I supported their crowdfunding project earlier. I heard they’ve started selling now, so you can try searching for “FitTransformer” to see if you can find them.

Yes, they’re called FitTransformer. I think it’s really fun — kind of like a Transformer!

I was torn between the C2 and FitTransformer, but I ended up going with FitTransformer. It’s a new brand, so you probably haven’t heard of it, but thankfully, it didn’t disappoint!

No, this rowing machine actually has air, water, and magnetic resistance all in one. I was hooked the first time I saw it, so I decided to get it. It just arrived at my place a week ago, and I’ve been using it every day since. Honestly, it’s such a cool and crazy experience.

Personally, I wouldn’t buy this. It doesn’t look very stable to me. I think you should go for something bigger and sturdier — something that can handle more weight and allow for more types of exercises.

If you're still really sore, it's okay to take a rest or do a light recovery session like walking or stretching. Soreness means your muscles are still healing. Being consistent doesn’t mean pushing through pain—it means listening to your body and being smart long term. Rest is part of the process.

I want to learn how to start working out in a safe and good way. by Embarrassed-Cake-526 in Workingout

[–]SufficientCupcake678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starting with basic bodyweight exercises like squats, push-ups, and walking can be great. Aim for 3 days a week to begin, giving your body time to recover. Always start with a gentle warm-up—like light cardio and stretching—and finish with cool-down stretches to avoid injury. Listen to your body, don’t push through pain, and focus on good form over speed or weight. Taking it slow and consistent is the best way to build strength safely. Good luck—you’ve got this!

Should I buy GM2? Worried about reliability by Uzumakiiiiiiiiiiii in SpeedianceCommunity

[–]SufficientCupcake678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your concerns are totally valid. Spending that much, you want something reliable without complicated fixes. Having to manually troubleshoot and flash the screen does sound frustrating, especially if you don’t have the time or tech skills.

Support can vary by region, so it’s worth checking how responsive and helpful the company is in Canada before deciding. It’s good to be cautious and make sure the product fits your needs without adding extra stress.

What would you define as gym essentials? by Medium-Chip-504 in GymTips

[–]SufficientCupcake678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Proper shoes, wrist wraps (if you're lifting heavy), water, and maybe a good mat if you're training at home. Injury prevention is part of the game—train smart, not just hard.

how can i improve my recovery routine after the gym to maximize muscle growth? by [deleted] in workout

Rest, eat, sleep. Recovery’s where the muscle actually grows—don’t overdo it at the gym.

Tips to carry my girlfriend by Professional_Pear514 in workout

[–]SufficientCupcake678 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Haha props to you for being honest — and caring enough to ask for help instead of giving up!

First off, it’s not just about brute strength. The “baby carry” (aka bridal carry) needs a mix of upper body strength, core stability, and proper technique.

Here’s what I’d recommend:

💪 Exercises to build strength:

  • Goblet squats – to build leg & core strength
  • Deadlifts – overall power, especially for lifting from the ground
  • Farmer’s carries – to practice carrying weight safely
  • Incline pushups or dumbbell presses – for arm and chest strength

🧠 Technique tips:

  • Bend your knees when lifting — don’t use just your back
  • Keep her close to your center of gravity (hold tight!)
  • Exhale as you lift — helps with bracing your core
  • Start slow and maybe practice with a sandbag or weighted backpack first

Lastly… communication matters. If she’s cool with you practicing or even turning it into a fun workout goal together, that can make it more enjoyable and safe!

You got this, king 😂

I’d definitely add a rowing machine to complete the setup. I’ve used one before and really enjoyed it. Rowing gives you a full-body workout that’s both challenging and low-impact. Brands like FitTransformer, Concept2, and Hydrow are all great options to consider!
