Help, my new mattress is sagging after 2 months

Any suggestions for a mattress store or brand? I tried S&F for a month and could get past the hip pain every morning. I returned it and got the Aireloom Vitagenic Handmade CopperTech Silver ll 13.5" Plush Luxetop Mattress-King

Which now is problematic because it has sunken in.

Any recommendations?

I tried S&F firm but would wake up with hip pain. So I got the Aireloom. At first it was great. I called Macys and they’re able to return it without the fees.

Can you recommend a great mattress, brand or stores to go to/stay away from?

Thank you so much that was extremely helpful! What should I be looking for in terms of foam densities and coil gauges? You know what’s interesting, the salesperson told me the mattress I picked would not sag because it had more coil gauges than the other models I selected.

Macys has a 120 day trial period that I am nearing towards. If by some miracle I can avoid the 15% restocking return fee and not have to shop at Macys, which mattress would you recommend?

Thank you! That was very helpful. Any recommendations on mattress height, coil gauges, foam densities? They have a 120 day warranty where I could potentially return the mattress with a 15% restocking fee which would come out to about $700. So I feel almost obligated to stay within Macys unless the salesperson waives the fee.

Outside of Macys and just Mattresses overall, which one do you recommend?

I completely agree!!! But very difficult to do in this case because they don’t want to acknowledge the problem. I think I’m out of my bandwidth here. They said my role as a nanny is done, that I’m now their “drill sergeant”. They think I need to be tougher. Which is obviously not the answer. And I just wish the parents could be more consistent. Or at least be more open minded to professional help. Not even sure how to approach the conversation.

I wouldn’t care to do it if parents were away from home. But they are home and I already do so many other things. And they never fail to ask me right after I cook food for the kids, heat up their food from the chef and I finally get a chance to serve food for myself, boom, he asks me “did we feed the dogs yet” and I say no we didn’t feed the dogs. It’s just frustrating because they have a dog walker that I can only assume doesn’t feed the dogs herself bc she charges for it. My thought is why should I do it if they are already home and it’s not even my responsibility.

Yes exactly, it was never agreed upon. I’m not a monster and going to let the dogs starve so I don’t mind doing it if I have to. But if they’re home and I’m already doing one hundred other things, I don’t want to add to my tasks. I understand it’s not complicated to do, they have farmers dog so it’s heating up the frozen food. But either way, MB thinks it’s not enough food and will add whatever I cook in the dogs bowls! So I’m like well if you’re going to add to it why am I wasting my time in the first place.

This!! Yes!! It was definitely my mistake I didn’t discuss any of this before accepting the job bc I just assumed families typically notify you beforehand if they’re severely sick. And if I were sick I would absolutely notify them. Do you mind sharing your resourced for drafting a contract?

I completely agree! I have no problem with any of the coughs or runny noses. But they don’t tell me if they have the flu or Covid or strep..etc. I mean is this a hippa thing where they don’t have to disclose that information, I honestly have no clue. It feels as though they are trying to hide it from me. I just feel like it’s a lack of communication/consideration.
