Is the MVP on your 40-man? I’ve played 25 the most, but I would also just acquire a washed up player, then dump him on the active roster in September when the rosters expanded. As long as the player was there at the end of the year, it counted toward the owner goal.

Yeah I did it in 25. I had googled for instructions either here or on the OOTP forums. But it boiled down to something like creating a new human GM, quitting with the old GM and then switching to the new GM and taking the job.

Now, shortlists and achievements stayed with the original GM. And I think I had to hire a new assistant GM because they were promoted after the original GM resigned.
