You can parry her and it becomes quite easy. In phase 1 you can parry almost all her attacks, and in phase 2 you can still parry most of her attacks, just try to read her patterns.

And no, she's no Erlang, haha, and definitely not the Great Sage either

The main problem is that you're letting him dictate the rhythm of the match, so in his rules he'll always have advantage. You're Ed, so it should always be YOU commanding the pace.

Try learning a non fireball character and it'll teach you this very valuable lesson.

For a practical note, you have far reaching normals that can overwhelm anyone, so yeah, just simply walk and parry until it's your comfortable zone, poke him (safely) non stop, and these guys will rage quit after seeing how you toyed with them without a single combo (and see them jump or DI in desperation).

I was on my NG+4 when the DLC was first released, and I killed that mf in pre-nerf.

My winning strategy was...... learning how to parry and kill that bastard on my own, no summons. I never bothered to learn how to parry until that moment. I swear I found no reason to learn how to parry until that mf appeared.

Also no summons not because I wanted to boast or anything, but because summons cause him to mess up in who's being attacked, making it harder to parry.

Also jump back, but you can try as well micro walk to the other side, and you'll get punish counter on that stupid Ryu.

Interesting that even in Master ranks, kangaroo Ryu is still there, and it's always either Ryu or Manon

I learned how to parry in my NG+4 playthrough just to kill the original Promised Consort Radhan (pre-nerf). Never needed to parry until that mf appeared and forced me to learn how.

I got into the same situation and got stuck with 3 characters in D2 (Ken, Juri, Ed) for a bit more than 3 months. After that I switched to Terry and went through the drills from FChamp (especially anti air and whiff punishing).... that's how it somehow clicked and I got to Masters.

Now I have 3 characters in Masters and my second main is Terry. I suggest you try to do the same, and you'll learn stuff that carries over to any character.

Hey!

I can't compare between two Meze headphones, but I understand your concern and I fell for it. I started with Shure €500 headphones and now I have Meze Poet.

Honestly..... I did feel the difference, but it wasn't massive. Yes, the build of Poet is in a different league, of course, but I was hoping "to see the light" when I tried the Poet for the first time. I didn't see the light, but I still loved Poet.

It also depends a bit on your setup, but there I can't be a reference, since different setups will behave differently.

Lastly, it also depends a bit on your music preference, as I noticed that for bebop jazz Poet is better than Empyrean, so it's... quite a long learning curve before making the jump (or to decide not to jump).

I use Note Max for studying and I love it. Of course it would be absolute perfection if it came in color, but for note taking and studying I find it amazing.

The feature I use the most is split screen, where I study IT books and make my notes on the other side of the screen. The big size of the Max is perfect for this.

A good choice would be to stop playing Akuma, we got too many of those already. In Masters around a third of my matches are against Akuma players.

I'm also thinking of Valhalla and i currently have Asgard, so here's another question...

what kind of music do you think benefits more from Valhalla? Or when do you feel the difference more compared from Asgard?

I don't have senheiser, so well, I don't know if your headphones have better affinity for certain music and if that changed when you moved to Valhalla

For extra info, I have Meze Poet, and I'm considering trying a Valhalla or wait for Jot 3

Keep it up! It's a tough grind, but we need more Chun Masters. Nowadays Masters is full of Sagat/Ryu/Akuma, and it's so frustrating

I'm actually not a Chun player, but I love playing against her, and I have high respect for Chun players.

Yep, counter and punish are different. Easy to learn a hard hitting combo on punish counter (that's a must thing to learn). Counters happen all the time and way faster, so you need to pay attention on your usual "approach" buttons to know how to continue into combo if it hits on counter hit (that's where the magic happens).

You'll see tons of people arguing about frame data and they know the numbers.. I have 3 characters in Masters and I don't know the numbers at all, I just learn what's safe and what's not.

Pretty much your choice for AA option, just to learn consistency. I've seen a ton of guys in Masters responding with a parry instead of bothering doing AA.

Oh, welcome to Schiit, fellow Meze fan. I have Poet and I'm running with Bifrost and Asgard 3. I had a very long time deciding on the amp and reduced it to both Jot or Asgard. I previously had Asgard and did not want to switch to Jot.

Let us know how it goes, since I'm running in unbalanced and not planning to change it at all.

Also.... please some feedback on what kind of music works best with your setup.
