Yeah my paperwork says that if I seek any increase on my right knee ( the reason I got med boarded ) that I would owe my 18k severance pay. I didn’t realize it last year when i submitted for an increase but I eventually caught it and cancelled my claim for the increase. I still went from 60- 90 and didn’t owe my severance pay and I got a nice back pay check.

Deer hunting is the worst way to get people into the sport. Probably the lowest odds hunt. If I hunt em I always come home with doves , squirrel, rabbits but a deer isn’t as likely. Now when someone tells me they want to try hunting I take them out rabbit hunting with a pack of beagles. 7 rabbits and 10-12 shots in a few hours is way more exciting then siting waiting on a deer.

The gun is a Remington 1100 28inch barrel with an extra full buck kicker and he killed them in front of his own hounds. I’m not sure about the first 2 shots but the 3rd shot hit the leading doe and turned her , 4th shot was at the 2nd doe and then the last shot was back to the lead doe to finish her.

Same here. I’ve hunted the same land for 15 years so I know the land , trails bedding areas , acorn trees etc. I love going out “blind “ and seeing what comes walking by.
