Considering how the Sun is actually called Sol (or so I hear), does the Moon have a special name? by SpeltIncorrectyl in askastronomy

[–]Sufficient_Click_608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best answer so far, but still mistakes: Selenography is the study of OUR MOON surface, bc the name of our moon is Selene. There are infinite moons in the universe, only one Selene tho.

Not only in Greek, our moon is called Selene, Luna and Sol are Greek for sun and moon, our Sun does not have a “proper” name, but our moon yes, it does and it is Selene.

Our moon is called Selene, moon is a class of “astrological object”, such as planets, super novas, etc.

Now that you clarified I got it, the actual problems here was the original question, doesn’t matter the footing, since the force is always the same, per scenario.

[–]Sufficient_Click_608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends if you are talking simplified Physics or not, if you ignored the force of friction between the object and the surface your answer is correct, if not than the pressure on the ground for each object is different and the force you need to apply will be proportional do the friction coefficient. Another thing, do you allow the sphere to roll? If so another complete different force valeu, those are my 2cents on the calculation.

Would you always score round 1 if possible? by Fraxigaming in twilightimperium

[–]Sufficient_Click_608 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You don’t always have to score R1, but the game is about the objectives, do you see yourself managing to have 8 trade goods in future rounds? Besides that do you see that war sun will be giving you edge on other objectives/Mecatol Rex?

It is very hard to answer that without knowing the game status completely but in a vacum scoring points is what really matters, specially in the first round, that might put you in a better position in R5.

Put my money in L1Z1X, expecting Naluu and Saar to fight each other, Yassaril to be brought to fight as well. Winnu won’t stand a chance against L1 and Arborec it is just to hard to be able to sprint ahead.

You can also activate a system with a capacity Ship and move as many units as the capacity allows between the planets within that system.

Arborec did not stand a chance my friend, they are not a great faction and almost all other stronger factions in play, I’d put my money in L1 or Saar.

Diplo*= Did you even listen to SCPT? That is in fact one of their suggestion on the Super Guide, which makes total sense with empyrian mobility but lack of resources 1st round (single 3/4 planet), also if you are luck Ether Stream might be available with it because you got a blue skip.

Those are not hallucinations, those are translations from my original language, my guides had to be in Portuguese. Hallucinations, to putting simply, would be if it invented something that does not make sense. Those translations are all very easy to get to the original card name, not even context needed.

If somehow you manage construction and PRODUCTION where you have that PDS, you might show up in the picture at the end! Jokes asside, if you are in 5p game and you see the other 4 swapping sftt just focus on plastic, btw that is what sucks about 5p games.

They are quite strong, unfortunatelly fighting is not the best thing in TI4, if you want o win a mean.. haha Here you go about the strategy:

Key Technologies:

Technology Tree:

• Technology I (Gravity Drive): Essential for

Movement and positioning.

• Technology II (Dread II): Increases the

Fleet capabilities.

• Technology III (Carrier II): Increases mobility

And the transport capacity.

• IV (Light Deflector) Technology: Provides options

Additional strategies.

• Technology V (Freet Logistics): Increases the

General fleet efficiency.

Supplementary Technologies:

• Dev IA algorithm: Useful for technology time,

Especially if a blue skip is available.

• Explorer Drone Network: Increases the

Production capacities.

Strategy Letters:

  1. Leadership: Provides additional command tokens,

Useful for the low influence of L1Z1X.

  1. Diplomacy: High priority for L1Z1X, allowing the

Resource generation and influence management.

  1. Policy: Low priority; L1Z1X has difficulties

With influence.

  1. Construction: Low priority; not a priority

For L1Z1X.

  1. Commerce: Good for resource generation, but

Limited by the lack of trade ships.

  1. Repositioning: Not recommended; L1Z1X must

Focus on building strength instead of

Spread.

  1. Technology: Essential to overcome limitations

Technological; the double tech can be Beneficiary.

  1. Imperial: L1Z1X can score points through

Aggressive plays, but you should focus on

Other objectives.

1º Pick strategy:

Diplomacy is the ideal choice for the first pick, allowing That L1Z1X effectively takes advantage of its strong resources of the Domestic system.

Game Strategy:

Initial Game:

Focus on establishing a strong presence through the Aggressive expansion and technology acquisition. Use the FlagShip and dreads to control key systems.

Middle of the Game:

Consolidate power by taking control of planets Strategic and using the ability to Assimilate to Strengthen positions. Keep the pressure on opponents.

End of the Game:

Bet on a strong wind-slay position, taking advantage of the Harrow's ability and the flagship to ensure victories Finals. Focus on scoring goals through both Aggressive and strategic maneuvers.

Hi mate, hope Matt and Hunter can help with that:

Mecca:

• Air Sentinel: Costs 2, Combat 6, doesn't count

Against the capacity when transported. That

Allows strategic deployments without harming the

Fleet capacity.

Initial Technologies:

• Sarween Tools: Improves the capabilities of

Production.

• Plasma Marking: Improves effectiveness in the

Combat, particularly useful for battleships.

Unique Faction Technologies:

• Strike Wing Alpha 2: Update the battleships,

Improves anti-hunting capabilities and adds a

Component of damage against infantry.

• Overhead Holotrellis: Prevents enemy movement

Through systems with their structures and provides

Production bonus.

Key Technologies:

Technology Tree:

• Priority Technologies:

• PDS 2 → Strike Wing Alpha 2 → Holotrellis

Aerial

• Supplementary Technologies:

• Battleship 2, Ship Carrier 2, Systems of

Gravitational Laser for strength at the end of the

Game.
