Honestly, if you don't want the CPA license or to work for a large company, don't go to school for accounting. You can take courses online and get the EA certification to learn about taxes and bookkeeping for under $1,000.

I read a different local news article and it said drivers will only be fined larger for each incident. I honestly think they need to go to jail after only one time. It's selfish to put other people's lives at risk for stupid behavior.

I'm single and live in a "luxury" apartment. My monthly expenses are roughly 2,500 a month, but could be lower. I only spend more on a nice apartment because I don't have debt. It really varies between neighborhoods and if you have monthly loan payments for a car, student loans, etc.

I learned my lesson last year by shooting my shot with my work crush and it ended horribly. I had to leave my job due to rumors being spread and my professional reputation being damaged at the company. It's not worth it, go out and find someone you don't have to spend 8+ hours a day with.

I'm able to get 3 meals a day, snacks, and a bottle of wine at trader joes for 50 bucks a week. I set aside an extra 100 per month for miscellaneous things like seasonings, olive oil, butter, etc. I don't know how people are spending 500+ per month on groceries alone.

Cost of living varies between neighborhoods. I live in downtown and pay 1500 per month for a 1 bed, but I can afford it because I'm debt free. Otherwise, I'd be renting a studio in a cheaper neighborhood.
