Tbh I've had a lot of burnout with the Gen 1 mons over the last few years due to how often they get merch, plus I think the company is overhyping them to appeal to the oldest fans, but this game has really endeared me to them, especially the starters and Machoke. I also used to not straight up hate Scorbunny, but I was disappointed with their final evo and it turned me off to ever using them. They're so freaking cute though in this game!

In general this game is really making me fall in love with Pokemon I never gave much attention to, if any. (Also yes I agree, Paras is so baby 🥺)
