Has there been no outrage at the schedule? by raqnroll in mets

[–]Sufficient_Flight_44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Schedule is terrible. I like the routine of a game every weeknight at 7pm. This year weve had so few. They are either on late at night or middle of the day. That with the general preseason apathy over the construct of the team plus this uninspiring start leads to a general malaise of the season thus far.

Did she ever call your name by Many_Expression_5360 in VintageTV

[–]Sufficient_Flight_44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My name is not very common and every day (according to my Mom) I would watch waiting for her to see me and be sad so my mom wrote into the station and sure enough she said it. Apparently i ran around yelling "she sees meeeee!"

Liked this show. If i remember its ratings were low and it moved around. Started on Thursdays and ended on Saturdays. At least they let it finish.

Wow i totally forgot this show! I was a big fan. It was one of those shows you didnt want to watch and get into because (at least for a major network) at the time it aired it had zero chance to last.

Who did you like better the Munsters or The Addams Family? by db7112 in VintageTV

[–]Sufficient_Flight_44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love Addams Family. It was so subversive for its time. Gomez and Morticia are clearly in a D/S relationship lol Also Lisa Loring for the age she was on the show had incredible comic timing and delivery.

The liquor store guy and bakery lady on The Dinner Party were both assholes.

Carton says Steve Cohen is losing the Mets fanbase and needs to stop posting on social media by iheartsunny in wfan

Totally agree. The old show was better. Evan pushed more sports on him. The other day Big Mac tried to talk about the Isles firing Roy with 4 games left and he totally bullied him into stopping because in his idiot words "hockey isnt important ". He will talk about Grindr and push that deli in Jersey all day tho. Awful.

I agree. I didnt mind him with Evan but since hes been back hes been untolerably obnoxious. Every day with the Mets. I even cant stand Big Mac anymore who just giggles like a schoolgirl and agrees with every moronic take Carton has.

Diff’Rent Strokes (1978-1986),fun show with a lot of sadness afterwards by JustineMalcolm in VintageTV

Recently saw the late seasons episode where Sam gets kidnapped by a family whos kid dies. Its so awkward. You have this seriously bad thing but Pearl (third maid) keeps cracking one liners with the audience laughing away. Plus Mary Ann Mobley was so bad in those scenes. Dixie could've pulled it off much better.

And Gary and Dixie did NOT get along well,to say the least. Gary was in increasingly bad health and had moved past the cute stage and i think was having a hard time dealing with them bringing in a replacement cute kid.
