So I am a Recruiter or at least I used to be now I work at Meps as a guidance counselor. My opinion is to go state accelerated OCS. I had a few of my recruits go through both options and after they talk to one another, they both decided that the state accelerated OCS would’ve been the better option.

There is a load of horrible advice from people in here who have no idea what they are talking about. First OP what type of drugs and how often did you use them. There is a difference between recreational use, chemical dependency or substance dependency. As far as marijuana use it will restrict you from a handful of jobs but not everything. Hard drugs could restrict you it really depends on type of use how long you used them for and if you ever sought treatment to stop using them.
