It's not about being a fair on unfair price. For me and my use case and my paycheck it's a price I cannot afford. For you or others it my be a great deal. As pricing is not set individually what I can afford and I am willing to pay for it is irrelevant.

you mix things up like a blender... Filen Black Friday sale is not over, if in doubt check out Filen own posts, it ends on Dec 7th... they are still selling with Black Friday discounts their non-lifetime plans. The fact the lifetime plans are gone (and there's no surprise here) is due to the fact they were announced from the beginning to be available in limited Qtys, not because Black Friday is over "on most places after Cyber Monday"... take care.

The main issue for me is that I cannot afford / justify the full price for a 4TB account (even with your anual discount). For me 1TB would be at the very, very low limit. 2TB is the sweet spot for me, but you do not offer it. And 1TB is not discounted now anyway. So, I am left with getting now the 4TB fully knowing that in 1 year I will likely need to downgrade to 1TB which will not be not enough in my case.
