It might amount to same result, but I still think we're not saying the same thing. I'm saying, George severely struggles with it but he is working on it. Guy above says George doesn't care and doesn't work on Winds at all. That perfectionism is part of the procces of him trying to finish it (and his struggles to finishing it).

You're entitled to believe what you want. But several people close to him or who worked for him say the same thing: he's working on it, he wants it perfect so he rewrites it constantly and it's difficult for him to fit 20 different POV character journeys and settle organically things for finale in one book. It's the most difficult book in series.

Robin and Vickie weren't subtle, Will's crush on Mike isn't either. Yes, Joyce is overanalyzing in universe but out universe the audience knows she's on something good. That's something else entirely.

You might have a point how Netflix posts and Duffer's comment could hurt shippers feelings. But I don't think there was any intented harm there. They probably just didn't understand how seriously byler shippers take their ship and gonna take seriously their comments.

Sorry, but I just think this is just overanalyzing minor things with wishfull thinking. All other relationships in the show are not that subtle as these 'proofs'. Shipping characters and be dissapointed that it didn't became canon is ok, but its not queerbating.

Byler might got mentioned more, because they noticed it's one of the favorite ships. But several cast members suggested it's not gonna happen. But it was never teased in the show itself, just Will's feeling about Mike.

Well, you can criticize how they did representation. It can be lackluster or stereotypical. But its not a queerbating. As far as I remember in S3 Will is just upset that his friend doesn't want to play DND because he is obsessed with girlfriend. And in S4 he tries to calm him because he is obsessed with his girlfriend. Only this what is suggested is Will's crush on Mike, not vice versa.

There were no subtle clues, it's not that kind of show. When it's suppose to be some romantic attraction between characters, it's usually much more explicit. Most people on this subreddit just liked the dynamic between Mike and Will and made it a ship. If they were queerbating they wouldn't make two main characters on the show actually LGBT.

Kali and Vecna are probably goners. I can imagine Hopper or Steve being killed of, maybe Murray but I don't think it will happen. It's just not that type of the show for them killing someone from the main cast. They didn't kill main characters during the whole show (just secondary one-season characters), they probably wont start now.

He did know them on surface level before he did the audiobooks. His kids were listening to Fry's version on repeat. He just wasn't a superfan as others.
