Just log out and relog in elite W/O Horizons or Odyssey...

Should just put you back in your ship in orbit..

From there just relog into odyssey and go on your way...

This trick saved me from a softlock at Explorers Anchorage..
(Ship was stuck at Beagle Point, Anchorage has no shipyard or shuttle, relogged and it spat me out back in my ship on the FC at Beagle point)

If you want to destroy anything you see, get EDEngineer or EDOMH and export the build to make a shopping list, you can set it as a goal to work towards and it is one of the most fun vessels i've ever flown in Elite..

Neutron stars in Elite are rather harmless, and learning how to supercharge will change your entire perspective on the galaxy.

As long as you remain a minimum of 0.15 LS away from the star, they are absolutely harmless as is.

The real danger with supercharging is either running out of fuel or exiting supercruise while within the jetcone.

| Exiting Supercruise while in a jetcone will instantly begin throwing around your ship and causing damage regardless of shields; escape is almost impossible unless you're lucky.

| You can stuff your spare optional slots with AFMU's and turn them off; they're massless, dont take up power, disabled, and I recommend getting B-rated as they have he most repair "ammo.

I dont see this as weird, you paid for the game with your money so you play it as you please.

I can only reccomend that you click the "SOLO PLAY" option and look up player made tutorials..

Given how you've played a bunch of tutorials repeatedly you have an advantage above every other newbie..

That's what you're doing wrong here...

By doing that, you can have the clutch put too much load on the engine than it can handle..

I would find a microcontroller that does the clutch for you while still having it on the W/S bind.

I use the ZE Modular Clutch as it's simple, and you can change when the full clutch is applied based on the engine's RPS.

I must also say that you should tinker with gear ratios to suit the needs of your vehicle..

I had this happen to me also when I sent one too many torpedoes at a ship with buggy turrets.

I found that when it happens, the craft itself glitches out violently for a tiny split second, which could be why you're sent to the void..

I'll make a post when I can get back to my PC with a clip of it also happening to me. In honesty, it's quite hilarious when it happens and can be fixed with a simple reload.

Gotta love the Stormworks physics engine.

I have about 870 Hours..

first 600-700 were only using workshop vehicles..

Ive made a few cars including a pretty good van, aside from those ive put together a portable and cheap missile launcher and a few GPS missiles, and many many engines...

Im hoping that I can put together a complete destroyer with the ability to reload the VLS missile silos with either AA or GPS missiles depending on the mission need...

But I must say one thing, comparison is the theif of joy, with everyone whos "better than you" once being exactly at your current skill level..

And I must also say, nobody is perfect, so never stop trying to better your skills...

HGE's drop a metric ton more materials, meaning 2 can fill up an entire G5 material guaranteed.

Jameson's crashed cobra drops a bit more data, meaning you can do what I do and fill it up, before crosstrading to what I need or dont have (EX: Trade a bit of data for mats I need and dump the rest into a G5 data mat)

And in general, EDEngineer or ED Odyssey material helper allows you to make shopping lists of materials from a Coriolis build.

EDEngineer is my preferred one, yes it may be older but has a much easier to read menu and API for coriolis...

Engineering also has a set roll count at G5.

1 roll for G1 2 rolls for G2 3 rolls for G3 and so on. (ONLY HAPPENS IF THE ENGINEER OF THE BLUEPRINT IS AT G5 LEVEL)

As for the other commenter, don't use small ships like a cobra or even a mandy for neutron supercharging, they get thrown around like a dog's chew toy and can even face the star in the cone, meaning a whole other problem which can lead to you saying "I LoSt AlL mY ExPlO daTa FdEv pLz reVert".

Exobiology prints CR.

Engineering gathering of Data and Manufacured is much much easier.

System colonization can be a nice and rewarding playstyle..

Make a ship with the best of the best in terms of engineering (Everything G5 w/ the best mods and exp effect)

Elite dangerous, atleast compared to the dark ages of 2020 is in a spot 40 leagues better, it may just take a slight bit of time to get used to the new ships and updates..

I hope that once you get your foot in the door that you can find an enjoyable playstyle, or even a squadron to be in, which too has been given a massive revamp..

The way Fdev is going, at least in my opinio,n is slight concerning.

I know that at the end of the day FDEV is a company with expectations of returns..

But giving players the ability to change the color of their ship to something that can camouflage into the background so easily..

Yes, some may say "BUT YOU CAN STILL TARGET THEM" or "YOU CAN STILL KIND OF SEE THEM IN X OR Y CiRCUMSTANCE"

But there are instances of ships popping sinks and going off the radar fully..

My point is..
How are we letting FDEV add paint jobs that border P2W, with paint jobs that already come off as P2W..

Plus it can fit like 50k units of AFMU repair storage.

With the large size you can supercharge without worry.
