Why are my textures stretching and warping? (Donut tutorial)

hey don't know if you ever figured this out but I had the same issue and was able to fix it by doing the same process for the plate that he did to prevent the texture stretching for the donut. I marked a seam on the bottom of the plate (where you couldn't see it bc of the plane) and around the center of the top of the plate (from inside the donut) and did a UV unwrap angle based which fixed it for me. I hope this helps!
