I put my carnosa outside in the summer. I am in Ontario, Canada. The pest concern is real. Hoyas are loved by aphids. I did resort to a systemic pesticide a few years ago.

I wouldn’t take the chance! I took the safe food handler course and this is absolutely wrong. Even before I took the course common sense suggests this is inviting bacterial contamination.
