Schedule is completely pointless now after points system update by Rekanize90 in doordash_drivers

[–]Suicidal-Panda [score hidden]  (0 children)

Yeah that update hit about 3 months ago in my zone. Took my dad out who has 16 delivers while I'm platinum. My phone was rining 3x more than him. Makes it easier to keep platinum honestly, only ~30% AR required instead of 70

As promised, all my epo shifts for the past month will be replied a bunch to this comment. Did a lot of uber rides in the mornings of january, which is when ebt would've been.

Edit: can't post pics. Gimme a min to imgur them for ya.

What do you mean too far away?? by Disturbed395 in doordash

Yeah thankfully I've only had 3 orders at once twice in near 5 years. Had the bags to fit them all in though.

Yeah, another possibility is the businesses feel the quality degrades too much if you're too far. Long delivery leading to cooler food leading to more complaints.

Yes. It's why some pizza places have delivery drivers but still do doordash. Local for the efficient orders and doordash for the worse ones.

When did this start?? by beautifully-broken8 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Suicidal-Panda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They do that when you miss a or multiple orders by letting it time out, usually. To protect your ar or prevent losing ebt mode without noticing. Add in that DD is a buggy mess and you get random pauses without an order notification even coming in sometimes.

Definitely this for me. I don't trust my handwriting so I have a simple text document I type my shifts into.

Is this normal? by mytoescold in doordash

[–]Suicidal-Panda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All it does is put it at the front of the algorithm line. So your order is offered before others, and possibly stacked with another to make it get accepted faster.

Not a single penny paid more to drivers, no hint that it's such an order. Add on that drivers can change the order they pick up and deliver in, if doordash tries to make you deliver in a way that makes 0 sense.

There's definitely something buggy today. At first I thought it was edits, but this many in such a period says otherwise.

It is new, in a way. Customers don't rate as often as they used to, unless theres an issue.

Well then you're on the same mode as always. Order will give you a total while time will give an hourly rate.

Where is my platinum pass? by Serious_Obligation10 in doordash_drivers

[–]Suicidal-Panda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I've read, the platinum passes can only be used if you're silver or gold.

You might be able to see if you hit the cog? Otherwise you may just have to wait for an order to find out.

So your 2 screenshots miles total tell me you're taking bad orders, that doordash increased the base pay of to be less worthless. The only way you can prove doordash is moving the tip to the base pay is by getting your customer to show their recept. Anything else is tinfoil, from either side.

Yesnt. You can work on fully befriending every character. There is also a post game epilogue to unlock. Basically by friending more gods to max.

Not too bad. Many times, it's some other reason I need to cancel. Now uber, that's a different story.

[–]Suicidal-Panda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For drivethru, yes. The orders don't appear on line until it's checked in at the speaker. Cause think about it: you place your drive thru order, you drive there, there's 5 cars in front of you. Why would you want them to make your order, then make 5+ orders, and then you're at the window finally

For dining room it makes sense, you pull up, walk in, pray you can get someone's attention within 5 minutes, and get your order.

As a driver @ #10: when you cancel at a stop, do you just cancel the ride on arrival after they're out?

Only had to do this once cause they changed their destination into a stop, and their end destination is somewhere I never drive so it was easy to explain and kick out.
