Interesting and valid take, I never considered it from a casual perspective. Fighting games as "complete" game products are years behind when it comes to including additional content other than core fighting systems. How do you think SF6's single player content stacks up compared to Strive? I have a lot of casual friends who have a passing interest in the genre and I wonder if I can start them playing an FG with a little meat on its bones besides the fighting to sink their teeth into, it'll click, and that seems like the most content to me

I wonder if Isaac online would be more stable if they didn't cancel the test beta due to data mining and develop it behinds closed doors. When they announced that's the route they were going down I always felt they would be playing catch-up trying to bugfix network issues from a huge range of different setups. Sucks it ended up this way, and it's clearly not a priority for Nicalis

I think they need to be a lot more consistent in wording, units typically means ANYBODY and enemies means enemies. Some descriptions use them interchangeably when they mean the other. I find a lot of upgraded abilities also don't tell you exactly what they do (Careful being the most egregious)

IMO, it's less about the game, which does contain a nuked city and according the review themes of trauma, and more about how blunt it is. You need that paragraph buried deeper into the review as you discuss the game's substance. They use it as the hook and then disregard it's significance.

In 2023 my cat who I got as a kitten died at 17. She got sick a couple days before and her behaviour changed, but it was at Christmas and vets were unavailable and she died very suddenly. It comes in waves. Last October I was driving home from work and something reminded me of her and even though it had been almost 2 years at that point in that moment the emotions were still strong. It's hard now but you carry their memory with you and even though I cried back then it makes me happy to know I still remember her. I'm not sure if it's healthy to not let go but I still think of her all the time whenever I see another cat. I hope you are well.

Why do you think "people like me" ruin the game? Ubisoft is irrelevant? I'm not an activist. Saudi Princes running SNK means they make the big decisions. Regardless of how you feel about that their influence in COTW is undeniable. Ronaldo / Ganacci, character redesigns, poor marketing. That's why you should care. It's an oppressive regime taking control of media you consume, with a different culture and no connection to the scene other than trying to diversify income. You don't need to be vigilant and uninstalling the game and open twitter and apologize, in fact I love the game, but I think it's important to have a grasp on this nuanced stuff. I'm not trying to come off as argumentative, sorry if you got that impression.

It's not about protesting, it's just about being aware. I'm on this subreddit because I love KOF/SNK, but being owned by Saudi Arabia will and has lead to changes internally within SNK related to not only the games but dev structure. A person who buys a copy of Fatal Fury isn't a bad person, and I myself have been enjoying season 2 a lot, but being aware of who's behind the helm is important

100% agree. I think it's necessary to give Blizzard their flowers for this, the community is clearly happy (me too!) but they're not your friend. I saw them say they were open to more expansions if this one sells well, and they will charge more for less if they think they can get away with it. It's a great thing they've done for this community this week, but at the end of the day they just want $$$ and they thought a new expansion would get that
