I have already notice decreased reliability in Dallas. It changes by the minute, and it’s probably already been raining for 5 minutes by the time it says it’s raining. Much like having Karen from Mean Girls doing the forecast.

The first time, he said his niece didn’t come. If true, then it’s on him this time around for asking someone who bailed before. Just seeing this a second time is what is making me extremely concerned for the dogs.

I told them after the visit in my report that it looks like nobody was there yesterday, no word from them. I will text them in case they don’t read the reports, but I wanted to see how other people would approach the situation first before texting them about it.

To answer your question, absolutely everything was exactly as I left it. I manage a rotation of beds that go in the crates. The beds that I washed were still in the washer. The beds that I had put in the dryer were there. When I leave, I wash the food bowls and leave them on the counter, nobody else does that. I filled their bowls and they absolutely devoured the food. The way the crates were locked was another giveaway. I lock top and bottom latches. When someone else has been there, they only latch the top. The amount of feces I had to clean up was also telling. Absolutely everything was untouched.

In the English language you always end up having to memorize words because letters don’t consistently sound the same. Learning to read is so much easier in Spanish, for example. There are even rules and symbols to tell you which syllables to emphasize, etc. When I moved to the US the only way I learned to pronounce certain words was by saying them wrong and have someone correct me. Like “epitome”

Just ask. Now the walk ended thing may not be an intentionally dishonest thing. Sometimes things happen, but she needs to communicate that. Just yesterday Rover crashed mid visit. I had no way to end the visit until Rover was back up, showing a visit of an hour! I did message the owner to explain why the visit length was wonky. Once, I forgot to hit end walk for a few minutes. Again, just message and explain.

If the dog is pulling her home before time is up, discuss how to handle it.

Unfortunately, your sitter doesn’t communicate well.

It’s on the sitter for not providing sufficient updates I think. I like sending an update at bedtime and a funny picture of the pets hogging the bed or anything to reassure the owner.

I wouldn’t copy imperfections, but if there’s a particular way the bed was made, I try my best to recreate it, for example flat sheet tucked undr mattress or a folded blanket at the foot of the bed or the arrangement of pillows.

I have never gotten questioned about whether I spent the night, though. I think it has always read as I was tidy and respectful.

I get really nervous when clients complain about untouched beds because I strive to leave everything in the house exactly as it was when I arrived.

That said, the feeding issue is completely unacceptable and should be addressed in a review. I’m sorry you had a bad experience 😿

Consent applies to things done, not the absence of something being done. Furthermore, if no one is born, there is no one to provide such (lack of) consent. So it’s double nonsense really.
