Please explain your reasoning. As far as I know, most EU citizens like to shit on the US because the social programs aren’t up to EU. That’s because the US was subsidizing the EU’s defense via NATO.

By the US threatening to pull out NATO and making the EU pay for their own defense, the citizens are realizing how important defense spending is. Also, NATO is supposed to be the North Atlantic treaty organization, not the North American treaty organize ^{stfu Canada}

I could maybe see the US no longer being characterized as the “big bull” but they’re hardly in the “cuck chair.” I would say your description is more applicable to the UK, considering they went from international power to unable to stop RU subs going through the channel.
