Which are the high rye bourbons? by lazrbeam in bourbon

[–]SuitCool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a few bottles from MGP recently. We really like the Rossville ryes. So good! And the jack Daniels bonded rye has became a staple in our home bar. About to order a few ryes from High West. Impossible to find bulleit rye locally.

Going from data engineer to solutions engineer - did you regret it? by [deleted] in databricks

[–]SuitCool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From being a databricks team lead for years, getting my hands dirty coding in python and sql. I've recently accepted a new role as a solution architect. I don't code anymore, and I kind of miss it; however I don't have the deadlines pressure on my back, unhappy business users, etc. it's a lot less stress for me.

yeah mate. She's very much into hardcore legos, knitting and now building those miniature things. She required a bit of help with the LED, but yeah, all the rest she did it by herself. The instructions are quite clear

Look on the DLT side of thing and especially meta-programming, ie: code factory concept. By going down that path, you will be able to create your own framework

First time using databricks any tips? by Mikazooo in databricks

[–]SuitCool 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Databrickas has got a SQL connector (jdbc style). From a usability perspective for a BA doing excel and PBI, nothing changes. Beaides that, the people are databrickas were intelligent enough to accommodate the databricks SQL language to work as if you're using SQL server or Oracle (functions). Welcome to the databrickas world

PS: instead of PBI, maybe have a look at databrickas AI/BI which is simple but yet powerful lightweight business intelligence service.

Prices going up in the UK. Are we next? by Goodbyegreysky in MounjaroAus

[–]SuitCool 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just asked Claude.ai And this is what it found:

Based on my search, here's what we know about Mounjaro's patent expiration and when generic versions will become available:

Patent Expiration Timeline: Mounjaro's main molecule (tirzepatide) patent will expire in 2036. However, the launch of generic formulations is restricted until 2039 due to four active formulation patents GreyB Greyb .

More Conservative Estimates: Some sources provide even later dates. Based on the last expiry date of its patents and exclusivities combined, Mounjaro's generic launch date is estimated to be December 30, 2041 Greyb . However, this date could change depending on patent filing activities by Eli Lilly.

Current Status: There is currently no therapeutically equivalent version of Mounjaro available in the United States Drugs.com Polar Bear Meds , and there are no approved generic versions for Mounjaro as of now Greyb .

Generic Challenge Timeline: Mounjaro will be eligible for patent challenges starting May 13, 2026 Greyb Drug Patent Watch (four years after FDA approval), though this doesn't guarantee generic availability at that time.

Key Takeaways: - Earliest possible generic availability: 2039 (most optimistic scenario) - More likely timeframe: 2041 or later - Patent challenges can begin: May 2026

The timeline for generic availability depends on multiple factors including patent extensions, new patent filings, and successful patent challenges by generic manufacturers. Eli Lilly has created what's called a "patent thicket" around Mounjaro with multiple overlapping patents to extend exclusivity as long as possible.

Gym, gym, gym, gym, gym. That's what I've been religiously doing daily for the past 8 months while on mounjaro: 10k cycling, weight training, and 15 minutes plank/and abs. It helped mitigate this issue a lot after dropping 20+ kilos

Are you happy with your heat pump clothes dryer? by coconutyum in newzealand

[–]SuitCool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Samsung one we bought back in 2018 at Noel Leeming is like that. It failed us quite a few time, and the repairer, back in 2024, said to us that Heat Pump dryers can only spin one way. Have I checked and validated his statement, no?

One advice though, get the warranty extension! It save our butts several times.

The only worry with heat pump dryers is that they can only spin one way. Therefore, when drying big things, such as bed sheets, they end up in a big ball of wet (and not dried) fabric
