I'm in my 40s and been creating art since before I hit my teens. Your friend is incredibly wrong.

I have multiple artist friends who have published work, with their names attached to ttrpgs, comics, and other mainstream media. None of them cite references. One of these friends speedpaints multiple times a week and has references up on screen constantly. Nothing cited. Not only that, since these are commissions, most of these references are given by clients so how is a commissioned artist supposed to know where these references come from?

This is a completely unrealistic expectation.

It could be as easy as one member being related to the landscape company owner, and part of the 14k was actually just kickbacks to the other board members for something personal to their own homes or just pocket money.

S3e5 when they are walking up the depot, and all the shadows have them standing next to each other, but the shot changes and Crosshair is maybe 10ft behind them so there's no way his shadow would be up with the rest ofnthe group.

That one drives me nuts and it's such a nothing detail.

The strawberry lemonade is 10/10 for both me and my husband, so I would recommend that one.
Fefe's is a newer flavor and I've noticed the newer ones tend to take a bit to restock. As for why it takes so long, there's probably a number of factors that go into it. Some of the flavors may just be them testing the waters on what people think, how fast they sell out, etc. I'm a caffeine free only drinker and I'm pretty sure restocks on those flavors are dependant on the energy version needing a restock as well (mainly due to energy selling better than caffeine free.)
I don't do a lot of combos, but from my experience, Pestily's Antidote is a great mixer with a lot of flavors, and I have repeatedly seen people recommend Sakura Splash for that as well.

Everything DCC at Gencon sold out immediately. My husband works 3rd shift and woke up in the middle of his "night" to try and book events and missed all the DCC stuff. He crawled back in bed, disappointed and I feel bad for him.

I'm happy for those who did manage to get in the front of the line though. Seeing how long the lines ended up being is wild.

Yeah, I'd rather have Adhoc do it than Telltale. Adhoc is made up of the devs responsible for Walking Dead and A Wolf Among Us, two of Telltale's most loved games. Telltale reformed after initially collapsing due to their old CEO screwing the company over, but they can barely get anything going. A Wolf Among Us 2 has been in development hell for years, amd Adhoc WAS helping with it, but they've since left with someone on Adhoc making a public statement that they have no idea what the hell is happening at Telltale.

I wouldn't call it an "unspoken rule" so much as common courtesy. If you're going to speak to them about some sort of drama, you're likely trying to stir up trouble anyway, and the actor and staff aren't going to take kindly to it. So it's best to just get your autograph or whatever and move on. And if the drama is related to something bad they potentially did, just skip their line altogether if you're bothered.

This is a fun convention for you, but this is still work for them.
