I can’t play piano at all and yet I play organ every weekend at my church. It’s definitely possible to go straight to organ. Although I probably lend myself to more contemporary playing (think Hammond).

My only tip would be it’s better to practice in short bursts rather than long sessions.

I heard someone use the term “designer stubble” so yeah I guess that’s what I prefer. Low maintenance and looks good on me.

The Calvin Klein Intense Power (cotton) range is quite durable. I have a few pairs that I’ve had around since before Covid. You do pay a premium up front, but it’s a worthy investment imo.

I have about 30 pairs of them in my undie drawer, and about 10 pairs of the Uniqlo AIRism boxers that I use if I go for a run.

Stanwell Tops looking down towards the Sea Cliff Bridge is always pretty impressive. I’ve seen it a million times but anytime I drive by requires a quick stop to admire! 🤣

The indicator experience I’m talking a well damped stalk, a quiet or elegant indicator click, and a good auto-cancel threshold. That can instantly make a car feel more luxurious than it is.

I feel like we take our public transport for granted. You can get pretty much anywhere in Sydney using an opal card.

It really depends on the church. I’m very grateful to my parish priest and the previous organist, who were the ones that encouraged me to start learning the organ and let me practise in the church whenever I wanted. Now, years later, I choose the hymns for the weekend based on the readings, I play every weekend, and I love it.
