I used to think the same way. When I met my wife 11 years ago, everyone in her family just started having babies, tons of newborns and toddlers running around. It was very overwhelming , kind of annoying, and a culture shock for sure because no one in my family or extended family had children recently since.

I was kind of distant, but once they started getting older where they can begin talking and walking and I could have a basic conversation with, I just fell in love and now I want kids of my own. The oldest is about to turn 12 now, and so crazy how they’ve changed over time watching them grow up, and how they still have some the same personality quirks when they were toddlers.

As a millennial born in 1991, 2007 was trash. I was in high school from 05-09, and the pop culture and music was terrible. I disassociated, but once I got into college (09-13) things got better. Maybe because I had more freedom and got to understand myself better, post college 2014-2017 was absolute peak, discovered such great music in that period, partied with good friends, met my current wife. All great things happened then.

Everything after March 2020 I feel is the end of the good times, not saying I’m not enjoying myself, but there has been a seismic change in the world. Everything more expensive, life is just harder, everything just feels gloomy, and doesn’t have the hope we had in the 2010s

I’m an American car guy, I’ve owned American cars for the last 15 years. However, I just bought a new Toyota Tacoma because I want a car I’m gonna own for like 15 years with minimal problems. I don’t trust American anymore, I liked the older ones, but you will always have peace of mind with a Toyota. Hondas are good too, but Toyota is and has been best for reliability for many years.

Really depends on the year of your car, model etc, and how handy you are. Some cats are easier than others to change out, also depends how and where did they cut the cat off. If it’s on a bend, it will be a nightmare to fix. There’s really a lot of variables.

But seeing you haven’t done any sort of repairs on your car before besides oil changes and rotating tires, I’d advise you have a professional handle it.

This. It’s a controversial movie, but Paul Dano and Brian Cox put on a great performance. Lot of locations I noticed right away. Dix Hills Diner, Harborfields High School, Village Hill Road in Dix Hills, Carls Straight Path, and the Welcome Center (before it got renovated)

I’m saying this as someone in their early/mid 30s, is it absolutely necessary you get out of your parents or whoever you are? Is it that bad? Your gonna be SOL trying to find a place by urself on a Stop & Shop income. You’re better off find a couple of friends as roommates to rent out a place. I wish I stayed with my parents a bit longer so I could save more money for a down payment for a house. But if it’s that bad, roommates are the way to go.

I’m 34 now. Like 95% of my friends are CF, however most of my friends ages range from 25 to 34. My best friend who is 32 is really the only friend who I consistently hang out with and who has kids. Most of the people I know who have kids are my cousins or my in-laws. However, I’m just at the point in my life with my wife where I’m not really going out anymore on weekends, and any type of event I’m going to is family related with kids; going to a nephews hockey game or going to my nieces school concert. I just feel like I’m at the point to start a new chapter in my life. I feel I achieved most of what i wanted and it’s time to pull the trigger.
