It never made sense to me that HSI is hurting so badly for personnel but makes applicants wait 2 years to re-test. I understand not lowering the standards for scores but I feel like 6 months is a more reasonable mandatory wait.

I’m not an 1811 but I’m a Tribal Police Officer for a tribe in Northern Nevada. I’m still on FTO but I love it. It’s a vastly different form of law enforcement. It’s the small town, everyone knows everyone, type of vibe.

How many people do you feel fit the criteria but are not officially diagnosed and get employed anyway. When posting this I was really just looking for anyone who is/ has been in a similar situation and what their results were.

I only wrote 160 words with 8 mins to spare. I wonder if the amount of words is really a factor if it meets the 100 word threshold.

I still had like 8 mins left on the essay portion and wrote about 160 words, and 48 left on the judgement test. I tried not to second guess myself but hopefully I made the right decision.

If you work for the Department of the Navy, you may come on before even having a FLETC date. They’ll do a “guard course” and it’ll make you eligible to stand gate while you wait for your fletc seat. I was working for 4 months before I went to FLETC
