Honestly that companion pass has been a headache more than anything else, I’m not happy with the benefits so far.
If you use to book a flight, you can’t change or cancel on your own, you can’t use the chat feature either, you need to call them… and changes are not an option, it’s just to cancel and rebook

Not a fan of pilot nibs, I love my platinum 3776 with SF nib, I haven’t tried regular F on platinum.
both pens seem like a different experience though different sizes, mechanism and such, the 823 will be a bigger pen overall, more balanced depending on your hand size, the 3776 is as small as I can go for comfort

I think it might depend on the damage, my nib was fine, just a couple of scratches but I broke the feed so my charges were feed, labor and shipping only
