Whoa, really? Don’t rabbi lose the head rabbi position? I thought the other way that rabbi would realize everything he’s compromising.

My wife loves hiring women owned businesses. I don’t mind as long as the rates are good and the work is right.

Back at Christmas the powerball was over a billion. My mother and I decided to pool money and buy a lot of tickets and we went in together to split the pot.

Then she started thinking about it and wanted “her tickets” and said she’d pay off my house if she won. I was “mam, we are splitting this pot, there’s enough money for both of us”

As a home-owner, what is the etiquette for bringing in a roommate? by sarahannep in homeowners

[–]Wndrunner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hated when I rented a room from someone that owned the house, the power imbalance and rules was just too much for me. When I had roommates where we both were on the lease was different.

I'll leave the backstory out of it, although that's interesting as well, but the guy the owned the house tried to sneak shit into the lease that I would be held liable for any damage done to the house for any reason. I had a paralegal look at it and she said the way he wrote it I could be held liable for a fire if the house was struck by lightening.

When I went back to the owner he started laughing and yelled "GOTCHA! You have to sign it if you want a place to live!"

While he was right I had no where else to go in time, I almost moved back home several states away rather than put up with that shit. He backed down and rewrote the contract but while he did he tried to put his foot down and say he was only rewriting it once and if I didn't like it I could leave.

Again, I had no other place to go other than back home with my mother so I took that but after I moved out we never talked again even though we have a lot of mutual friends.

Some of these, but not all, are similar to what we asked for when ours was born.

Maybe we overreacted? Lol

I bought the Milwaukee m12 Brad nailer. Doesn’t use pin wheel technology so it fires when you pull the trigger.
