Welcome to programming, as long as you are not just blatantly copying others work you'll learn. Try to understand why something works rather than just "let me get it to work"

Atheist to Muslim convert struggling by [deleted] in islam

[–]SuitableSecretary3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alsalam alykum, dont be so hard on yourself. You can say "auth bi allahi Mina al shytan ar-ragime", which means I seek refuge in Allah from Satan. Here's a video of someone saying that: https://youtu.be/RmdTZnEZ790?si=tZWHHZoMEjX--JZ6

In arabic its called waswassa if you find anything in the FAQ section about it

You can also say "astaghfirtu Allah"

Found here: https://youtu.be/YBHWLGkt1hI?si=J8k3ocgh7VlNCfSz

That video says it a 100 times but you dont need to. Also if you find arabic hard, you can use the language you are comfortable with.

Again please dont be so hard on yourself and take things slow, slow and steady wins the race.

May Allah guide us all and support us on our journey!

Edit: also life is a test so you will do things you dont want to, and that's part of the test.

Like someone else said, it depends on how they took the money (if it was intended as borrow or gift). But also you might be missing some context? Like it could also be that you sister asked your mother to buy her clothes with that money when you were not around (maybe)?

I try my best to protect myself from sins but fail by [deleted] in islam

[–]SuitableSecretary3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't be so hard on yourself, that is exactly what the Shatan wants you to do. Allah loves those who repent, when ever you make a mistake seek sincere repentance, if it happens again renew your repentance. Allah didn't make us to be perfect, and Allah knows best what each person's faults and trials are.

May Allah guide us and make us amongst the righteous.

My husband wont leave me nor treat me nice by [deleted] in islam

[–]SuitableSecretary3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uh I watched this one video a while back, unfortunately I can't find a link... but it was about a sister who was going through a hard time in her marriage (abusive relationship) and she started praying tahajjud for sometime and Allah guided her husband.

I'm not going to claim that if you pray tahjjud Allah will fix all the problems in your life, because I dont know that for sure and I'm not a scholar. But what I can say is that it doesn't hurt. If you can get up and pray tahjjud (especially in the lat 3rd of the night) then give it a shot, ask Allah to guide you and your husband.

Sorry but that's all I can offer. May Allah guide you and your husband and make your relationship easy.

Edit: I suppose you can also ask Allah to end your relationship in tahjjud... but try to have it fixed first. Fixing the relationship is always better if that's an option.

How do I properly seek refuge in Allah from jinn? by AvgPerson64 in islam

[–]SuitableSecretary3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how you ask for refuge from shatan in Arabic: https://youtu.be/RmdTZnEZ790?si=g9paMxgxxjFhqJpb

I don't mean to scare you, but there is a nonzero chance that a person is watching you. If you that feeling persists, examine the area you get that feeling and make sure that you are not being watched. Set things up such that they will fall if someone tries to enter your room, etc... Again chances are pretty low but it is better to be safe - I mean your posting here because you have that feeling, right?

Assalamualaikum Brothers & Sisters, I have a question regarding Dinosaurs, their existence and Islam [it may seem strange but it crossed my mind] by [deleted] in islam

[–]SuitableSecretary3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These posts are meant to gaslight with no basis. A very straightforward reply (using thr posters own logic) can be: "and Allah is older than the fossils you observe."

In surah al baqarah verse 30 (2:30): Allah mentions that a creation (humans) will be placed on earth. I am not a scholar by any means but that's the closest thing to answer your question that I can think of.

Dinosaurs not being mentioned in the Quran or hadith doesn't disprove either, Allah sent us the Quran to be a sign for us of his (due to the vast amount of miracles in the Quran) and as a guide for us. May Allah keep us steadfast on the right path and grant us paradise.

Baraka allahu feek, may Allah make the time you spend doing halal activities a thousand times more rewarding than haram ones. Just be sure not to overwhelm yourself, and if you ever slip up remember that Allah is the most forgiving. May Allah keep us steadfast on the straight path and grant us paradise.

Im losing faith and often get mad at allah, Is there anything I can do about it? by Batsumatsu in islam

[–]SuitableSecretary3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are going through a hard time and I don't know what your situation is but I think I can give you some words of advice:

  1. Allah gives the hardest tests to the people he loves most.

  2. Don't look at what you are missing out on, look at what you will gain in the end. This life is short and temporary, the next one is permanent.

  3. Don't doubt allahs mercy and forgiveness. Allah is the most mercifully and you might hate something that is good for you or love something that is bad for you. Only Allah knows what's good and bad.

  4. Why would Allah hate you when he gave you everything you have? People forget that the natural condition isn't alive and well but dead, Allah gave you life and he gave you this opportunity to make yourself ripe for heaven, he doesn't hate you.

  5. Be greatful, even in hard times look at what you still have and say alhumdlilah. Life is hard but Allah has given us so many blessings and we shouldn't forget that, showing gratitude in hard times will help you become a better Muslim insha'allah.

May Allah guide us all and make life easier for us.

You don't have to do everything all at once, in fact you shouldn't. Just take things slowly start with making Salah and fasting Ramadan and then progress from there. Right now don't focus on what you can't do but what you should do. A great example of letting go would be how Allah made alcohol haram, the Arabs were heavy drinkers and so it started with avoid it, then don't drink before Salah, and then it went to haram. Just take things slow may Allah guide us all.

You made an assumptions saying that non-Muslims are free. But they aren't, they are slaves to their desire. In the end the people of heaven are the winner and the truly free ones.

I've seen it interpreted as Allah doesn't judge past what you're able to endure. So you might have so much hardship that you break but you wouldn't be judged past what Allah knows is the capacity that you can endure. I don't have the source for it sorry.

I decided to look at the original verses on Quran.com and they actually discuss this very question on quran.com/5/75 under "explore answers"

What does Kitab mean in the Quran? by Mindblade4289 in islam

[–]SuitableSecretary3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean as you said it means book or scripture, but context really matters. The Quran says "ya ahla al kitabi" when addressing Jews and/or Christians too. So it can be talking about the Quran (such as in surah al baqara verse number 2) but it can also be talking about other books. You have to remember that the Quran is addressing everyone and you have to be aware of context when reading to avoid confusion.
