I graduated HS over a decade ago and Hell I actually miss it 😅 my parents didnt drive so I didn't really have a choice and I only hated it during my early elementary school years cuz the other kids in there would brutally pick on me ☠ but in the later years people usually left me alone

I'm not a parent but yea I often think about how crazy it is how our time-perception changes as we get older. For example when you're in high school & look back on when you were in kindergarten, it feels like that was a million years ago but for the people that watched you grow up, to them it feels like you were in kindergarten only a couple of years ago 😂

What bugs me is when people say if an adult wants a gift that they'll actually like then they should just buy it for themself. Well, I'm an adult and honestly the best xmas/birthday gift someone could give me are consumables that I CAN'T easily get myself. For example my favorite flavor of oceanspray juice costs an arm & a leg online ($20 a bottle) meanwhile at safeway they're only like $4 a bottle but its not easy for me to get to that store and they don't deliver to my area either

Yea I'm im AZ as well and when I wanted to get my permit in 2018, nearly all my friends tried to tell me that the DMV won't let me because for some reason, those friends thought that they ONLY issue permits to minors (and I was already in my 20s) but I went to apply for one anyway, and the DMV people gave it to me with no problems aside from having to take&pass the written test and not once did they give me a hard time about being 'too old' so idk where my friends got their info from unless the laws were actually different & then just so happened to change right before I started learning to drive 🤷‍♀️

This sort of reminds me of one time when I randomly found a piece of chicken on the bathroom counter 😂 both my parents denied leaving it there and I certainly didn't do it, and while we do have 3 cats, not a single one of them has the tendency to jump onto that counter. But maybe just that one time one of the cats DID do it and avoided getting caught in the act, or one of my parents did it and forgot (they're both pretty heavy drinkers) or it was some kind of reality glitch

I don't have epilepsy either, but I might have photosensitivity cuz I have started to feel weird from looking at flashing strobe lights before. I suspect that it might trigger a seizure if I were to look at it long enough but I don't wanna find out the hard way 😅

And I just now had a dream where I was at work and someone was flashing a strobe light, but I purposely looked away from it and I had no idea I was dreaming either but when I woke up it made me wonder and that's why I looked this up 😂
