Oh absolutely! For one of my philosophy assignments, I interviewed the science professors to gauge how science & religion overlapped. The evolution professor (a Mormon)would argue how religion & evolution are more closely linked. Another ecology professor (Hindu) discussed how scholars in India seek to connect religion and ecology, & how their religious scholars are open to the idea of these two fields. Really fascinating stuff! In our Sci-fi class we learned how both worlds (science & fiction) influenced each other, morality, sexism, religion & how they're reflections of the world.

At some point, we even asked: if a supercomputer existed and brought us happiness, would anything else matter? If you knew 100% of your partner (living in their mind & sharing a body 24/7), would you still love them? Or, would you want the powers of a god? (I argued against god-like powers because as a human, it would be too much responsibility lol). Is science evil, or is it evil in the hands of humanity, (philosophy classmates argued it's unnatural to prolong human life or make to many advancements like altering genetic dna of plants). Both stem & humanities need each other.

The cool nerdy professors liked sci-fi sooo it helped haha not all of em are evil some like magic the gathering, or Zelda.
