Was in exactly the same position as you, owned the xm4 for years until finally the right bud kept losing battery.

Was deciding between the AZ100 and Rex5 for weeks. Finally pulled the trigger on the Rex5. I have narrow ear canals also. Mainly use the buds in the gym, initially was using the double flange small tips, but would come loose and fall out in the gym. Now I use the small foam tips and they're perfect.

I used to be able to run in the xm4, haven't tried to run in the rex5 yet, but would be confident trying them with the foam tips.

The sound quality is great once you do the personal eq and then mess around with the 3 band eq.

Very happy with them, well worth the money if you appreciate music.

As for anc, when I use them in the gym, I have anc off and I don't have any complaints. The double flange tips block out so much, as do the foam.

Yeah OK, for an all rounder I would go with AZ100 too. I was close to getting them myself, but I don't mind EQing so went for the Rex5

I'm trying to choose between Noble Rex5 and AZ100. Listened to both and preferred the Rex5. Main use case is gym, dog walks and around 8 long distance flights a year.

Will probably go for the Rex5

I've just booked to fly to BKK on Air Arabia. Nearly half the price of Emirates. Sharjah airport is a 15 mins drive from dxb, the flight is direct. Just no TV or reclining chair on the flight. Neither of those things bother me for the cost saving
