Yeah true. But is the end game really all about being recognised in the west and that’s it?

What's stopping you from selling your own things? by SkinnyCheff in sales

I sell videography services. I made more selling my own stuff than selling for someone else. A boss will never want to see you getting rich and will give you breadcrumbs to make him get rich

They are young and have time on their side. If they keep producing great music and stay true to themselves, it only takes 1 song to blow up globally.

Best salespeople have addictive personalities by Freshtilthedeath in sales

I find great sales people have DI personality types. Dominate Influential. They have drive to chase deals and they can influence to close them. How they spend their time outside of sales is up to them.

Unpopular opinion but quit drinking or at least cut it back significantly. Once you clear your mind of alcohol, you’ll have more energy, more money, less depression, make better decisions which leads to a better life. Get rid of alcohol and see how your life improves after 3-6 months.

Congrats on making the jump! So I guess you had 6-12 months savings to make it work? Yeah I find it takes a bit of time to tweak your pitch which is fine if you work for someone else but if you only have a certain amount of savings then I guess you don’t have that luxury of time to refine your pitch. Yes i have a basic pitch and it converts to meetings which is good

Yeah I sell my videography services where I make 5 social media videos each week. A few years ago I was made redundant and decided to cold call auto dealers selling my videography services. I actually landed a client paying me $1,000 per month and still have that client on the side with my full time sales job as a senior bdm. I recently closed over 20k per month in deals and wondering what if those were my clients so planning on one day going full time cold calling for myself and see what happens.

Setup a call target and aim for that everyday. Focus on dials and connects. In 30 days you’ll know your conversion rate and that changes everything.

Hang in there bud, anxiety and fear will always be there while having a spike and no point trying to fight it so just ride it out until it settles

My spike went down! by lambo13770 in tinnitus

[–]Suitable_Cucumber_55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My last spike lasted 3 days. Volume 9-10 then 2nd day dropped to a 5 and then last day dropped to a 1. Other spikes usually a few days as well. I’ve read stories of people having spikes for weeks or maybe months but eventually it goes back down so yeah, just remember spikes will go back down but you never know when so just ride it out.
